00:00In Oxford, in the Grove, as more than a two-touchdown favorite, lay in 15-and-a-half, Ole Miss was

00:10one of the most impressive teams to start off the season.

00:14One of three teams that entered Saturday, a perfect 4-and-0, not only straight up but

00:19against the spread, booked as a favorite in all four games.

00:23We thought they were going to roll, Kentucky.

00:26The Wildcats had other ideas, playing spoiler early on to end out the final Saturday in

00:32September 20-17.

00:35Kentucky as a favorite, DRS, in its SEC opener against South Carolina, lost by more than

00:41three touchdowns.

00:42As an underdog, they played Georgia to a point at home, covering as more than a three-touchdown

00:48dog.

00:49They came in outright as a 15-and-a-half point underdog in Oxford against Ole Miss

00:55on Saturday.

00:57Impressive performance and also Stoops as a dog really came to play.

01:00How about the way that game ended?

01:01You fumble on the goal line, it bounces right to your guy, you leap into the end zone and

01:04away you walk with a victory, which was really impressive because what we got out of Ole

01:08Miss, we knew their offense was fantastic over the first couple games, but were they

01:11really tested?

01:12The one thing we know now is Kentucky's got a pretty good defense here and that should

01:15hold up in the SEC.

01:17But again, Ben, doesn't it feel like the same point we're going to continue to make at the

01:20Grove in Oxford?

01:22You just lost that game.

01:23Don't show up the rest of the year, fans.

01:25Why?

01:26It's over.

01:27You can't make the college football playoff.

01:28Why even play football anymore?

01:29Ole Miss has a chance now to respond and still make the college football playoff.

01:33That's why this is sensational.

01:35You enjoyed that game for Ole Miss.

01:36You cheered your brains out if you were in the stands with the fans here.

01:39You lost that game and you wake up on Sunday morning going like, you know what?

01:43Lane Kiffin can still stand in front of that team and go, guys, our mission is still here.

01:49We can still make the college football playoff.

01:52Now, Ole Miss is going to need to have a big rebound because you would have told me that

01:55Ole Miss lost that game 41 to 40 and say, oh, OK, back to the Ole Miss ways you're scoring.

02:00They just couldn't hold up.

02:01But the fact they only scored 17 points in that game and their defense plate was quality,

02:04only giving up 20 points there.

02:06There's still a lot to be won here for Ole Miss.

02:08Even though they lost a game in September, it happens.
