00:00Duck and Percy enjoy their work at the harbor, pulling and pushing cars full of cargo to and from the quay.

00:12But one morning, the engines were exhausted. The harbor was busier than ever.

00:25Sir Topham Hatt promised that another engine would be found to help them.

00:29Huh, it's about time, said Percy.

00:32I ache so much I can hardly get my wheels to move, agreed Duck.

00:36They waited for the engine to arrive.

00:41It came as a shock when he did.

00:44Good morning, squirmed Diesel in his oily voice.

00:48The two engines had not worked with Diesel for a long time.

00:52What are you doing here, gasped Duck?

00:55Your worthy Top, uh, Sir Topham Hatt sent me.

00:59I hope you are pleased to see me again.

01:02I am to shunt some dreadfully tiresome cars.

01:06Shunt where? said Percy suspiciously.

01:10Where? Why, from here to there, purred Diesel, and then again from there to here.

02:29I have to give Diesel a second chance, replied Sir Topham Hatt.

02:49Diesel's driver had not put his brakes on properly and Diesel started to move.

03:08Later, Diesel bumped the car so hard that the loads went everywhere.

03:13What will Sir Topham Hatt say? gasped Percy.

03:17He won't like it, said Duck.

03:20So who's going to tell him, I wonder?

03:22Two goody-goody tattletales like you, I suppose?

03:27Percy and Duck did not want to be tattletales, so they said nothing.

03:31Diesel, thinking he could get away with his bad behavior, was ruder than ever.

03:36Next day, he was shunting freight cars full of china clay.

03:40He banged the cars hard into the buffers, but the buffers weren't secure.

03:46The silly cars were sunk.

03:51Sir Topham Hatt heard the news.

03:54The cars were hoisted safely from the sea, but the clay was lost.

03:59Sir Topham Hatt spoke severely to Diesel.

04:02The harbour master has told me everything.

04:05Things worked much better here before you arrived.

04:08I shall not be inviting you back.

04:10Now, Duck and Percy, I hope you won't mind having to handle the work by yourselves again.

04:15Oh, no, sir. Yes, please, sir, replied the engines.

04:19Whistling cheerfully, they puffed back to work while Diesel sulked slowly away.
