00:00So, rural private consumption has been given a thrust through CAPEX expenditure, through
00:09a whole range of government schemes which provide welfare to the people living in rural
00:18areas.
00:19But it's very important to make the people living in those rural areas as very active
00:24participants in our economy, and that would require us to do training, skilling, so that
00:31they get better quality jobs in the future, they become a very productive participant
00:36in the growth and progress of the Indian economy.
00:38There's a huge possibility, the defence sector has been liberalised, not only are we manufacturing
00:42for India, we are also exporting from India to the rest of the world.
00:47So defence is a massive potential in India, we import, we used to import a lot, that has
00:53come down, we have very big manufacturers like Tata's, L&T, Mahindra's, many other companies
01:01who are manufacturing in the defence sector, and I think defence is one area where we have
01:07the massive potential to export and capture the market across the world.
01:11Why are you talking about a $10 trillion economy?
01:13We should aim to be a $30 trillion economy by 2047.
01:17That means that India must grow 8 times in the next 20 years, that's the challenge for India.
