00:00The Bureau of Customs ordered the shipment of rice from the Manila International Container Port.

00:10This is to avoid the possible delay in our supply chain.

00:17According to Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio,

00:21the government is doing everything to fight illegal activities such as hoarding of rice.

00:27First, the official clarified that there is no port congestion in the Manila International Container Port.

00:34In addition, because of the consignees who are paying the 30-day window to claim their shipment

00:41after the payment of Customs duties and taxes,

00:46it will be recorded in the Inspection of the Literature of the Camera in the MICP.

00:51In the name of the House, Speaker Martin Robles,

00:54the rice importer should not miss the deadline before receiving the shipment.
