00:32Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple.
00:34The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards.
00:39Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in this temple.
00:42Which one are we going to hear about today?
00:44The legend of the Missing Eye of David.
00:47Oh, the Missing Eye of David.
00:49Well, the legend is set, and one of these six teams will have a chance to retrieve the missing eye.
00:53Will it be the Red Jaguars?
00:55The Blue Barracudas?
00:59The Green Monkeys?
01:02The Orange Iguanas?
01:05The Purple Parrots?
01:08Or the Silver Snakes?
01:10They're going to have to pass some pretty tough physical and mental tests,
01:13and in the end, only one team will have the right to enter Olmec's temple.
01:16But first, they have to cross the moat, and Olmec will tell us how they'll have to do it today.
01:22Before you, an ancient rope hangs into the moat.
01:25When Kurt gives the signal, the first player will jump into the moat,
01:29pull the rope back to your side, and then swing across.
01:33When you reach the other side, throw the rope to your partner, who will then swing across.
01:38As soon as the second partner is crossed, run over and hit the gong.
01:44The first four teams to hit their gongs will go on to the next round.

03:17In the early 1500s, the greatest artist of the Italian Renaissance
03:20was Michelangelo Buonarroti.
03:23He was so talented that at 16, Lorenzo de' Medici,
03:26the Prince of Florence, became his patron.
03:29Legend has it that one day, Lorenzo came to visit Michelangelo at his studio.
03:33Listen, Michelangelo, you've been working on that statue of David for months.
03:37As a matter of fact, I just finished.
03:41And he pulled off the drapery covering it.
03:43There was a seven-foot-tall statue of young David about to do battle with Goliath.
03:48Magnificent, exclaimed Lorenzo.
03:50He looks alive. How did you do that?
03:53I pictured him inside the block of marble, and I chiseled away to free him.
03:57He will be placed in the town square of Florence as a symbol of my power, said the Prince.
04:02Years later, during a rebellion, the statue was smashed and later restored.
04:06But legend has it that one eye vanished and had to be replaced.
04:10Your quest is to find the missing eye of David and bring it back here.

09:50Why don't you guys run over there and get ready for your Temple Games,
09:53and I'll tell you about what's going to happen here.
09:55Now, in the Temple Games, teams are competing to win pendants of life.
09:59The winning team will need those pendants to protect them from the dreaded Temple Guards
10:02as they make their way through the Temple.
10:04There are three Temple Games, and Olmec will tell us about Temple Game number one.
10:08Every old master had his apprentices who mixed the paints for his palette.
10:13They had to know all about colors.
10:15In front of each of you is a bucket.
10:17One is marked with purple, and the other is marked with green.
10:21In this game, you'll have to remember that the two colors that make up purple are red and blue,
10:27and the two colors that make up green are blue and yellow.
10:31When Kirk gives the signal, run around to your palette, jump up,
10:35and grab a colored ball that makes up your color.
10:38Then dump it into the bucket.
10:40The player to get the most balls that make up the color of their bucket in 60 seconds wins.
10:46Okay, let's see how artistic our teams are here, and if they can get the colors right.
10:50Let's put 60 seconds on the clock.
10:53Everybody's back in equal position.

10:58Green has to get yellow and blue, and the silver needs to get the red and blue.

12:32Michelangelo painted beautiful pictures on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
12:36On the ceiling above you is an equally impressive picture of me.
12:41And in this game, you're going to take it down for a cleaning, piece by piece.
12:46When Kurt gives the signal, jump up and grab a piece of my portrait, one piece at a time.
12:51Then, come back down and place it in the bucket.
12:55The first player to take down all eight pieces and put them in their bucket,
12:58or the player that's further along in 60 seconds, wins.
13:02But be careful.
13:03If you drop a piece or it misses the bucket, it doesn't count.

14:37Michelangelo once explained that he envisioned the figure inside the marble
14:41and chipped his way down to it.
14:44You are about to test that technique.
14:47Before you are three giant steps at the top of which stands a block of marble.
14:52When Kirk gives the signal,
14:53one member from each team will boost the other up to the top of the first step.
14:57Once you're up, turn and pull your partner up to your step.
15:01Then start again.
15:03When both players on your team are on the top step,
15:05break away the marble to reveal the sculpture within.
15:08The first team to reach the top of the steps and reveal their sculpture
15:11or the team that's furthest along at the end of 60 seconds wins.

17:13You could start by climbing through the ledges
17:16and climbing down into the rock quarry.
17:20Throw five rocks into the bucket to lift the slab.
17:23Then race into the laser-like room.
17:27Unleash the power of the correct laser
17:29and you could choose to go up into Medusa's lair
17:33or into the treacherous swamp.
17:37If you escape, you might have a chance to enter the dark forest.
17:43Reach into the hole and find the key, but be careful.
17:47One of the trees could be inhabited by the spirit of a temple guard.
17:52If they grab you, you'll have to give up a pendant of life.
17:56Next, plow through the wall and into the mine shaft.
18:01There, ride the elevator up into the lightning ball room.
18:07Connect the power cords to open the door to the shrine of the silver monkey
18:13where you can grab the missing Eye of David.
18:17Assemble the statue and you may be headed for the king's storeroom.
18:22Smash the clay pots to find the key,
18:25which will allow you into the observatory.
18:29Put together the puzzle on the stone column and run across the bridge.
18:34Then pass through the crypt, race down the stairs,
18:39and back through the temple gate.
18:42The choices are yours and yours alone.
18:46You won one and a half pendants in the temple games.

18:55When Kurt gives the signal,
18:57you'll race through the gates into the temple
18:59and make your way toward the missing Eye of David.

19:12But if you're caught without a pendant,
19:14you'll be taken out of the temple
19:16and it'll be Emily's turn to enter and try her luck.
19:19Hidden somewhere in the temple is the other half of your pendant.
19:23If you can find it and you're carrying the other half,
19:26you will get an extra life.
19:29If you can reach the missing Eye of David,
19:31all the doors of the temple will instantly unlock
19:33and the temple guards will vanish.
19:36Return through the gates with the missing Eye of David in three minutes
19:39and you will both be handsomely rewarded.
