00:00The office of the Presidential Advisor on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity

00:07held a wreath-offering at the Tomb of the Heroes as part of the celebration of Peace Consciousness Month.

00:13Those who supported the peace process in the country were also recognized for their activities.

00:26The Presidential Advisor on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. is positive

00:32that the rebellion in the country will end after the term of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

00:43and they already had the so-called socio-economic engagement.

00:47For Father Balueg's New People's Army and Cordillera Party Liberation Army,

00:51work, livelihood, education, and other things are included in this 90% agreement

01:01Slowly but surely, but Galvez hopes that peace will be established in the country before the President goes down.

01:20This is a joint effort for a long time by former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.

01:25who first opened an alliance with the rebels in 1976 through the Tripoli Agreement.

01:32It was followed by the Final Peace Agreement in 1996 under former President Fidel Ramos.

01:37The Pinoy Administration was also a part of this,

01:40which was the first to approve the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bansamoro

01:44that was ratified as the Bansamoro Organic Law during the previous administration.

01:49Their contribution to the peace process in the country

01:51was recognized for the third time today by the National Peace Consciousness.

01:57A wreath offering was made in the cemetery of the heroes.

01:59The first to be set free was former Community Commissioner Heidi Yorack,

02:04who was considered a pioneer in the peace process.

02:06The rebels also allied with former President Fidel Ramos

02:09before giving up to former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.

02:13The major gains achieved under the Bansamoro peace process

02:17as a result of the peace-building efforts

02:19which began during the term of the late President Marcos Sr.

02:24and is now being continued by his son, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

02:31In Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque,

02:33former President Cory and Benigno Aquino III were also set free

02:38as well as Ambassador Manuel Llanos Sr.,

02:40who was also a big part in turning the rebels against the armed conflict in the country.
