A California man has been charged with murder following the tragic death of Eduardo Zoll,

a beloved star of Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

Zoll, aged 58, was also known for his talent as a singer and actor.

He died after sustaining multiple stab wounds.

On September 10, Zoll called the Palm Springs Police for help.

When officers arrived, they found him seriously injured in his apartment.

He was rushed to a hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries 10 days later.

Authorities had identified Richard Joseph Gonzalez as the suspect.

Initially reporting an assault on himself,

Gonzalez was later linked to the stabbing and charged with the murder.

Gonzalez is currently being held without bail in Riverside County.

His connection to Zoll remains unclear, but police have stated they were, quote,
