01:13They're going to have to pass some pretty tough physical and mental tests.

01:20But first, they have to cross the moat, and Olmec will tell us how they'll have to do it today.

09:35The team will need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded
09:38temple guards as they make their way through the temple.
09:41There are three temple games.
09:42Olmec, tell us about the first one.
09:45While Theodore was empress,
09:47the Byzantine Empire expanded by conquering other countries.
09:51Before you stands a mountain with many holes into which your pegs fit,
09:55and it's divided into four sections,
09:57each named after a part of the Byzantine Empire.

10:06Rome,
10:08and Carthage.
10:10Each territory can be won by placing your peg in the secret hole
10:13that sets off the victory salute.
10:16When the salute gives the signal,
10:18start putting your pegs into as many holes as possible.
10:22When you win a territory, move on to the next one.
10:25The first player to win all four territories,
10:27or the one that's further along in 60 seconds, wins.

12:09When Kurt gives the signal, pick up a golden object,
12:12place it in your pouch, grab a handle above you,
12:15and swoop down to the opposite platform.
12:18Once there, drop the golden object in the bucket
12:21and pick up a piece of corn
12:23that you'll take back to your starting place.
12:26When you've safely arrived with the corn,
12:28place it on your backboard,
12:30and you will have completed one trade.
12:33The player to complete the most trades at the end of 60 seconds wins.

17:18and now have earned the right to enter Olmec's temple.
17:21But first, here's some information that Olmec will give us
17:23to help him retrieve the imperial purple robe of the Empress Theodora.
17:29You could start by climbing through the ledges
17:32and climbing down into the pit of despair.
17:36Crawl through the pit, then race into the throne room.
17:41Sit on the throne of the pretender,
17:44or you could choose to go up into Medusa's lair
17:48or into the treacherous swamp.
17:51If you escape, you might have a chance to enter the dark forest.
17:59Reach into the hole and find the key
18:02or plow through the wall and into the mine shaft
18:06where you can grab the purple robe.
18:10Ride the elevator up into the viper's nest
18:13and pull the snakes from the jars to open the door
18:16to the shrine of the silver monkey.
18:19Assemble the statue and you may be headed for the king's storeroom.
18:24Smash the clay pots to find the key,
18:27which will allow you into the observatory.
18:30Put together the puzzle on the stone column
18:33and jump back into the pit,
18:36then pass through the crypt.
18:39Race down the stairs and back through the temple gate.
