00:00The fantasy football world is one that is obviously very well-populated, and it's also well-populated with advice coming from everywhere, right?
00:09Even a guy sitting in his spare bedroom talking on Twitch will give you fantasy football advice.
00:14And the truth of the matter is, sometimes, none of this game makes sense.
00:18And so each week, I like to remind us of that, with the fantasy football dumpster darlings.
00:24The guys who no one expected to do anything at all, who come out and have the games of their lives,
00:30whether it be on the waiver wire or, even more painfully, on our bench.
00:34So let's get into it.
00:35These are the top performances from the guys who are the least owned at every position.
00:42It makes sense, trust me.
00:43Coming in at quarterback, from the Green Bay Packers, it's Malik Willis.
00:462% owned, 25.38 fantasy points, as he lights up the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.
00:54Our running back, also of the Green Bay Packers, Emmanuel Wilson.
00:59Substantially more owned than Malik Willis.
01:023%. He put up 15.5 fantasy points this week.
01:05The other running back, our RB2 on our dumpster darlings this week, is Ty Johnson.
01:100% owned.
01:12The old Sam Mitchell, 0-0-0.
01:16But that led to 12.1 fantasy points.
01:18The obvious one of the week is Jawan Jennings.
01:20It's a little high for the ownership percentage on this, but still.
01:2432% owned is not a great own rate at all.
01:27And it certainly is dwarfed by the amount of points he put up.
01:32With 41 points this week, an unbelievable showing from Jawan Jennings, probably on a lot of people's benches.
01:38This one was on a lot of people's waiver wires.
01:40Trey Tucker, owned by nobody.
01:430% owned, 19.1 fantasy points.
01:47Our tight end for the dumpster darlings this week, Ty Conklin.
01:4915% owned, 11.8 fantasy points.
01:52In our flex spot, it is Calvin Austin, at 0% owned, 17.5 fantasy points.
01:58No one had faith in the Green Bay Packers defense at 31% owned, 21 fantasy points.
02:04And our kicker, Will Lutz.
02:062% owned, 16 fantasy points.
02:09All of that together, a fantasy team that no one would trust.
02:14179.38 fantasy points.
02:19Fantasy football, fuck yourself.
02:22This is, we have had some gigantic, I did this all last year.
02:26And you'd have a couple like, oh wow, that's a good one.
02:29And you'd have a couple where, you know, if I wasn't doing this as a weekly bet,
02:33I probably wouldn't be doing it this week because that score isn't all that high.
02:36But we have had some gargantuan scores from guys who no one was owning in the first few weeks.
02:41A fantasy question here from Conrad.
02:44With Brock Perdy officially listed as questionable,
02:49is picking up a quarterback facing a bad defense like Danny Jones or Caleb Williams worthwhile?
02:55Danny Derp faces Dallas and Caleb is going up against the Rams.
02:59I want no part of Caleb Williams right now.
03:02I do have some major concerns about that offensive line.
03:06The receivers keep getting injured.
03:09They're not able to run the football at all.
03:11And so the issues are kind of building up on Caleb Williams right now.
03:17And so that has led to, I think, some tough fantasy days.
03:21And I just, I don't think he has time to really go out and make a few plays.
03:25So from a fantasy standpoint, I am avoiding Caleb Williams at all costs.
03:30Hi Deeds, how's it going?
03:31Thanks for popping in today.
03:32In terms of Danny Jones against Dallas, old Danny Dimes there,
03:39that is, it's an interesting kind of backup plan.
03:42I do, again, have some concerns about the San Francisco offense.
03:47Brock Perdy, I think he'll be fine.
03:49Like, I don't think that this is going to be a week that he misses.
03:52Now, New England's defense is pretty good.
03:56The Giants offense is bad.
03:58And the one thing, though, that I do have some hope on is,
04:03A, you have Malik Nabors, who is just a beast.
04:06Like, just an absolute beast.
04:08And to your point, Conrad, yes.
04:09Dallas' defense has been bad to start this season.
04:14And they have given up some pretty good fantasy points to some teams.
04:18And so there are some opportunities for Daniel Jones to go out there and put some points up.
04:24It's the Thursday night game, and a lot of times coaching wins out.
04:27And I do think that Brian Dayball is a significantly better coach
04:31than Mike McCarthy and anyone on the Dallas Cowboys staff.
04:35So I do think there is an opportunity for Daniel Jones to go out there and make a little bit of noise.
04:40If Perdy is healthy, I would still probably go Perdy over Daniel Jones.
04:44But I have no problem going out and actually picking up Daniel Jones
04:49and letting him kind of roll through.
04:51At least have him on your bench as a backup and an option there for you this week.
04:56Yes, Deeds, it is you and I facing off.
04:59You, right now, projected to win by 30 coming off of a gigantic week last week
05:05with Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley in your lineup.
05:08I believe, let me just go back and look here real quick.
05:11I believe, 156 points, yeah.
05:15Gross.
05:17Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley alone outscored my team this week.
05:22So that is, that's what I'm going up against here for my group.
05:26Hopefully they all got worn out putting up those points last week.
05:29So that is the story from Fantasy Football.
