West Park in Wolverhampton makes list of ten best parks in the West Midlands

E&S reporter Dan visits West Park to see what it has to offer after being named in a top-ten list of parks in the West Midlands.

00:05and star and today we are visiting west park or the sun in wolverhampton uh this is after

00:12it was put in a top 10 list of best parks in the west midlands as per trip advisor so we

00:16thought we'd come down and just show off a bit

00:30i also just had an encounter with a squirrel which is a first

00:44he thinks i'm a tree don't don't i'm not a tree

00:51i also thought it might be an idea to ask some people to talk to me see what they think about

00:55it because i mean at the moment it's just a grown man in a park with a camera my name

01:01is michael trainer i'm 64 and i work at west park hospital for the occupational therapy team

01:10so i i work for the occupational therapy team with stroke patients they cycle around on tricycles

01:20as part of their rehabilitation and i cycle around with them and we do three sessions

01:29three days a week three sessions a day what i like about the park is that it's enclosed

01:35so because so they can cycle safely and most of the people that we see going around are all

01:43say hello and they're friendly and it's uh they're able to the patients are able to interact

01:49with other people as well as the green areas there's also a play park that people can go in

01:53and we thought we'd just have a quick go on all the different rides so enjoy

02:27playground spoke to a few people and i'm getting a bit too embarrassed now watching people look
