00:00Hi Pampsters! My name is Nika and I'm Rachel. Welcome to Preview Ball 2024.
00:07Of course, we have with us tonight the beautiful Miss Colleen Garcia!
00:13Hello! Hello to all of you!
00:16Of course, our first question Miss Colleen, can you tell us about your look for tonight?
00:20Yes, so tonight is a wet look. We wanted to try something more like this.
00:26This is my first time to do a full wet look.
00:28This dress, beautiful, beautiful dress was only made last night by Miss Julianne Sigupo and her team.
00:37So amazing, I'm so so happy with it. I love the fit, I can breathe, it's beautiful.
00:44And so my jewelry is by Tiffany. So I'm wearing the T-bracelet, I'm wearing the knot earrings and pendant.
00:54And my hair is by Reds from Liina and my makeup is by Aeron.
00:58I love your makeup, it's super glowing.
01:01Thank you, Aeron!
01:07Can you describe your go-to fashion look?
01:11For me, it's always something that has classic elements at the end of the day.
01:16Something that I won't look back on in the future and cringe.
01:21I hope so, I hope so. I try, I try.
01:24And then I try to experiment every once in a while.
01:27Although I would like to be more adventurous in the future.
01:31Where would you say your style has changed when you became a mom?
01:34I would say some parts of it has changed.
01:38I definitely go for comfort now.
01:42Before, it used to be like, let's make it tighter, let's make it sexier.
01:47Now, it's just a bit more relaxed.
01:49I just want to be able to enjoy the events that I attend at the end of the day.
01:53Comfort really matters to me as well.
01:56So I make sure when I put the look together, it's something that I can sustain the whole night.
02:01Do you get bashed when you dress up at times?
02:04And they say, you look like a nanny, you shouldn't dress that way.
02:08I haven't received any bashings like that.
02:12But I believe moms can dress however way they want.
02:16I don't think that in fashion, being a mom should change anything.
02:22Speaking of moms and motherhood, how has your motherhood journey been for you?
02:27It's been great. I've been so, so happy.
02:30We've been taking it slow.
02:32We've had one child for the past four years.
02:35So we've really been focusing on him.
02:38And at the same time, still building ourselves on the side.
02:43It's great because our dynamics as a married couple has changed.
02:47But for the better.
02:48I feel like everything in our life actually has changed for the better.
02:52There's a time when kids are being naughty, right?
02:54So how are you handling that energy?
02:57I'm barely handling it.
02:59No, Amari is such a good boy.
03:01He's really such a good boy.
03:02He's very obedient.
03:04Now, he's showing his appeal.
03:06He's testing the limits now.
03:08He'll do something kind of mischievous and then he'll laugh about it.
03:13So it's all about discipline at the end of the day.
03:15You just really have to be consistent.
03:17Consistency is key.
03:18In what way are you strict with discipline?
03:20Are you the type that does punishments?
03:22Well, you know, for years we haven't.
03:25But now, I feel like we're starting to find the need for it.
03:29It's more of like consequences.
03:31We let him experience the consequences of his actions.
03:34So we gently guide him.
03:36Like, hey, if you do that, you might fall.
03:39And we're there to catch him in case he falls.
03:42But we let him fall.
03:43We let him experience the consequences of his actions.
03:47But we're always there to pick him up.
03:48We're always there to help him through it.
03:50From fashion to parenting.
03:51We've covered all the showbiz.
03:53What are we waiting for, Ms. Colleen?
03:56Our conversation is so productive.
03:58Well, my third film for the year will be out this October.
04:03It's called Friendly Farts.
04:05It's directed by director Mikhail Red.
04:07And more details to come soon.
04:09October is still far away.
04:11But I mean, it's almost there.
04:13But I still don't have the details.
04:15So I'll share it with you guys once I have it.
04:17Can you share maybe your character?
04:19My character is one of the oldest characters in this film.
04:23I have a lot of kids with me.
04:25Senaloisa.
04:26Sena...
04:28Actually, Sena Ives.
04:30We have a lot of kids with us here.
04:33Harvey Bautista.
04:34So...
04:35I feel like I'm getting old.
04:39But it's not in the script.
04:41But I'm a mentor.
04:43So my role here is more like a senior.
04:47So it's different from the other roles I've done.
04:50Is there anything that you're saving up for?
04:52Since you have a lot of kids.
04:54Aren't we all saving up for everything that we want and need?
04:58But yeah, I mean...
05:00Of course, we're saving for a lot of things.
05:02Because we have a family.
05:03I want to be able to sustain my family.
05:06To be able to provide for Amari.
05:07Even if he wants to go to Harvard or MIT in the future,
05:10I want to be able to provide that for him.
05:12So that's what my priorities are right now.
05:15Thank you so much, Chika, for today's video.
05:20Enjoy the night!
