00:18There's a Christmas album coming out November 1 and that's pretty new.

00:23So it's the first studio album that I'm coming out with in a while

00:28So yeah, it'll be available November 1.

00:32What does receiving an award mean to the Philippine industry?

00:36Ah, there's that sound. We're gonna have to sit down in a minute.

00:40Something about your play. Your musical.

00:44What is receiving an award like this?

00:46For the Philippine arts.

00:48It's like...

00:50I think receiving any kind of award is like, wow, really? There's always that feeling.

00:57It's a nice feeling to get recognized especially by your own countrymen for what you've done and what you've been able to do.

01:08It's a nice feeling and it's something I don't think I'll ever get used to.

01:14There are people who believe that you deserve to be a national artist.

01:18Some say you are too young.

01:20What's your insight about that?

01:25For giving so much pride.

01:27Well, Philippine pride may not always equate to amassing a body of work that would qualify for that.

01:35So it's nice to hear that there are folks who feel that I deserve it.

01:41Thank you. Honestly. Thank you very, very much.

01:44But as for me personally, I feel like, you know what, let me get some more stuff under my belt.

01:49And then maybe I'll wake up one morning and feel deserving of it.

01:52At the moment, I kind of don't.

01:56I don't know.

01:58I honestly don't know yet.

02:08If my countrymen are proud, wherever in the diaspora they happen to be,
