00:00Hello, I'm David Walliams. I'm here performing an audience with David Walliams at the Civic Theatre.

00:06And I can't wait. We had such a great time, me and Matt Lucas, when we were here with our Little Britain tour.

00:13All the way back in 2007 when I was just 12 years old.

00:17But I remember we actually arrived in Newcastle from Sydney by helicopter because someone gave us a free ride.

00:25And as soon as we landed in Newcastle, there was a local TV film crew.

00:31And the guy said, how are you enjoying Newcastle?

00:35I think, well, I've only been here a minute, but it's lovely.

00:38But no, the audiences here are fantastic, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the show.

00:42And also, sampling all the delights that Newcastle has to offer.

00:46I've already had a fantastic Japanese meal, and I'm off swimming now.

00:51But if you're coming to the show, I really hope you enjoy it.
