00:00This is an art exhibit that is open to the public.

00:03This is a combination of arts and technology

00:06that is perfect for arts enthusiasts.

00:08Let's watch it.

00:12Nowadays, technology plays a huge role in our daily lives.

00:18From work to vacation,

00:21almost everything is connected to technology.

00:24Even so, it is important that we have time

00:27to rest from screens.

00:30One of the best ways to do this

00:33is to visit art exhibits.

00:35Just like the art exhibit of a gallery

00:38that celebrates its first year

00:40where arts and technology are combined.

00:45We can see a lot of works,

00:46interesting and in different media.

00:50And what I can see,

00:54works on canvases,

00:56acrylic,

00:58also oil and also mixed media.

01:01We welcome all the mediums used,

01:04techniques used,

01:05and also how they are made.

01:09And I don't think there's a limit to working on something.

01:15Some of the artworks that you can see here

01:17are the works of European artists

01:19such as Châtillon by José Briones

01:22and Basilica di San Pietro al Tramonto

01:25by Ramon Acevedo.

01:27There are also some abstract paintings

01:29and other mixed media artworks

01:31that are perfect for art enthusiasts.

01:35I took a picture of the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

01:39Then I printed it on a canvas.

01:43Then after I printed it on a canvas,

01:46I applied oil pastel and colored pencil

01:51to change the mood of the artwork.

01:54My goal here is to share my newfound passion in arts

02:00as well as what I like in photography.

02:05This gallery is run by an educational center

02:09in Southeast Asia

02:11led by former Education Secretary Leonor Briones.

02:15Not only about technology,

02:17but also about us as humans,

02:20as human beings.

02:22And this is where you go into art.

02:27Also, the individuality.

02:28Because usually, what they teach us is uniform,

02:33the principles, etc.

02:35But in art, they develop all by themselves.

02:40The exhibition is open to the public

02:42until October 22 in Diliman, Quezon City.

02:45Visiting the art exhibits is a good way

02:49to take a digital break.

02:51But when it comes to arts,

02:52there's no break because technology can be a part

02:55of the development of art.
