Tony Popovic named new Socceroos coach

Football Australia has announced that the new Socceroos coach will be Tony Popovic.

00:15want to thank the FA for having the trust in me, in my abilities to take on such a role.

00:31also the fans and the players, which ultimately are the ones that will get us to where we

00:41want to be.

00:42The Socceroos are in a good position. We've had some great success recently at the World

00:47Cup. This campaign hasn't started the best but I know there's enough time, there are

00:53enough games and we should really be aiming for that top spot.
