00:00In your attempt to become the sage, it is very easy to become the savage and that's what happens to Indians.

00:06We didn't follow the process of the sages. We just emulated their results.

00:12What was the process of the sages? They used their mind to the fullest extent.

00:16And then they reached the boundary of the mind.

00:18They went through the entire journey. It was an arduous painstaking journey.

00:21They paid every bit of the price.

00:23The commoners thought they can have it easily and cheaply.

00:27So they said, fine, if the final thing is that the mind is to be dropped, we'll drop the mind.

00:32We'll stop using the mind. So India stopped thinking.

00:35India started scoffing at logic.

00:38India made the intellect a dirty word.

00:40What is better? Emotions are better. Blind belief is better. Superstitions are better.

00:45Thought is not good. Logic is not good. Rationality is not good.

00:48Because these are things of the mind.

00:50Rather I'll go by my gut feeling.

00:52Now the one who goes by his gut feeling is a savage.
