00:00When it comes to Quinn, my question for you is, should Longhorn fans want to see Quinn
00:21back in there, or do you think Arch gives them a better chance to compete for a national
00:25championship?
00:26Oh, no.
00:27I definitely think this is Quinn's team.
00:29I mean, I don't think that's a question at all.
00:31If you listen to the players when they talk, even back to spring ball, they've always mentioned
00:37how Quinn is the head of the snake.
00:39That's how they like to describe Quinn.
00:41And he's clear-cut the leader in that locker room.
00:44So of course, any type of success Arch has, it won't matter.
00:49Once Quinn gets healthy, he will be the starter.
00:51And I believe that Quinn is the right person for that job for this season.
00:54He's just been groomed to be the starter for this point, right?
00:59And the things that he went through last year, having to overcome an injury last year,
01:03right?
01:04When Malik Murphy came in, he missed a couple weeks, but then he was able to get the team
01:07to the Sugar Bowl.
01:08And so I think this has all been steps for Quinn's confidence as the years have went
01:12on, as he's been the starting quarterback at Texas for this season.
01:16And even Sarkeeshan today, he mentioned how the goal for Quinn is still on the table.
01:19I mean, the goal is going to be Wynn Heisman.
01:21He wants Quinn to be in New York when the time comes.
01:24He wants Quinn to be a national champion.
01:26And I think the whole team wants that for Quinn as well, because they know how much
01:29he's invested into this program.
01:31Corey, my next question for you is, how different will this offense look the next couple weeks
01:37with Arch back there at quarterback?
01:39Obviously only through, what, nine passes last game, but for over 223 yards, is this
01:45going to be a team that's more run dependent?
01:47You're still going to see the pass.
01:48What can fans expect to see out of the Texas Longhorns with Arch at quarterback?
01:53To be honest, Blake, bro, I think you're not going to see a difference at all.
01:57I think Arch has the same skillset as Quinn.
01:59The only difference is he can run.
02:0120 miles per hour.
02:02Yeah, I was about to say, he can run.
02:04That's the difference.
02:05And, you know, we actually asked Sark that on Monday, is there going to be a different
02:10type of scheme?
02:11And Sark mentioned, no, definitely not.
02:13I mean, that's why they recruit a guy like Arch Manning, that's why they recruit a guy
02:16like Trey Owens, who's now the backup.
02:19They all have the same skillset and can all execute the offense the same way.
02:23So there isn't any type of mess-ups or deficiencies when it comes to the game plan.
02:29If you look at Michigan, since they are switching quarterbacks, it's going to be a completely
02:34different offense with Orji over there, right?
02:35And that's what Sark didn't want to happen at Texas.
02:38And so that's the plan, and now he's going to execute that in that way.
02:42Now, he didn't mention on Monday there may be a couple more read options thrown out there
02:46just because Arch can move more than Quinn, but other than that, it'll be the same exact
02:51offense as you see Quinn run.
02:53And the question is, how well does Arch run it compared to Quinn?
02:56That's what everyone's looking to see.
