Scott Parker provides and injury update on Lyle Foster and Connor Roberts

Scott Parker has updated the media on the availability of Lyle Foster and Connor Roberts for this weekends fixture against Portsmouth.

00:00Both are close. Both are on the training ground this week, so we'll make late calls on both of them

00:08regarding tomorrow's game.

00:10They're still a little bit off. Aaron Ramsey was this week, first time he was on the training ground, on the grass, still

00:18some time away, but certainly that was massive for him and really pleased for Aaron. Jordan, obviously,

00:24he's just come out of surgery, so there's probably a little bit more of a longer road for Jordan.

00:31But at least I feel like we've got to the bottom of that problem and

00:37it'll obviously be working hard to get fit and the other boys are where they are, to be fair, currently.

00:41You've got some minutes for Jon Egan and Enoch Adjaye in midweek. How welcome was that in that under-21s game?

00:46Yeah, it was pleasing, really. Both Jon and Enoch obviously coming off an injury

00:52from pre-season with his medial ligament, so it was good to get some minutes under him and the same with Jon.

00:58Obviously, Jon's just come in

01:00and to get an 11v11 game in that sense was vital minutes for both of them, really.
