00:25the Lamesa Watershed, which now provides about 90% of the raw water supply of Metro Manila.
00:34This also serves as the buffer zone to the Lamesa Dam to make sure that it mitigates
00:40the effect of urban pollution and even urban encroachment.
00:45This is also a safe haven for environmental species where flora, fauna, and human communities
00:52coexist in harmony.
00:55In fact, in just a week of observation, there are more than 200 species residing in the
01:02Lamesa Eco Park.
01:04Lamesa Eco Park is also part of a broader hydrological and environmental goals where
01:11it is envisioned to help even the air filtering and microclimate here in the Lamesa Dam.
