00:00Week two of the 2024 NFL season starting last night with our

00:07first short week Thursday night football game of the campaign

00:10and a good one to begin as they often do on TNF early in the

00:15season. We'll talk about that come week seven or eight but

00:19week number two started in Miami. A divisional duel

00:22between the Bills and the Dolphins. On paper, a great and

00:26marquee matchup. Two divisional mates that to end out last year

00:30played in a game in Miami to decide the divisional title.

00:34Buffalo won. It was their fifth consecutive win in their fourth

00:38straight AFC East divisional crown. They entered last night

00:42Joveneri co-favorites to win the AFC East once again each at a

00:47plus 180 number but Miami was the home favorite laying two and

00:52a half for Thursday night football with a total of forty

00:55eight in a hook. Now, two things can live in harmony based

00:59on last night. Buffalo was dominant in the victory

01:03incredibly impressive for Josh Allen and the Bills in a

01:06statement to start twenty twenty-four. Thirty-one to ten

01:09the final there. Buffalo winning outright as a two and a half

01:13point underdog but the game and the result slightly overshadowed

01:17by the scary situation that featured to a tongue of Iowa in

01:21the third quarter scrambling to pick up a first down collides

02:00being as an individual as a father as a husband far more

02:05important than anything he will do as a quarterback on the

02:08football field. I don't want to speak for tongue of Iowa. He

02:11will have those important conversations that are

02:14necessary. It is just incredibly unfortunate for to a

02:20ago. And it's a and it's a reminder to Ben that listen

02:26this at this point with his eighth concussion, you know,

02:31the damage could already have been done. You'd never know,

02:35but these guys know full well what the consequences are

02:38before they step on this field. So this isn't a situation

02:42where oh he had no idea this was he has known they have done

02:47everything possible with him. His training has changed over

02:51the last two years been the way he is slide. The equipment is

02:55changed like everything they have done. They have done in

02:58order to hopefully avoid what they just watched happen again

03:02last night. And now as far as I'm concerned, I don't think

03:06the NFL unless the NFL doctors are out of their mind. They're

03:10not letting him step on the field. We might not see him

03:13again until November. If we're lucky here, and I know he's

03:17going to try to get back out on the field bed because we've

03:19seen this with him before, but I think there's going to be a

03:24ton of precaution here, which means Miami's got to prep to

03:28move forward with a new starting quarterback.
