00:14be BC and Missouri cash that ticket and take it to the window we hope to give

00:19you a few more here on this Saturday can we start with you this line actually

00:23working slightly back to BC over the last 24 hours 16 and a half yesterday on

00:29a Friday afternoon you saw the graphic there 15 and a hook on this Saturday

00:33morning just slightly north of two touchdowns 14 and a half in favor of

00:39Missouri it's a top 25 tilt the line working back to the Eagles but still

00:43north of two touchdowns just how competitive is this ranked versus ranked

00:48game well I wonder if Phil O'Brien is letting them know that nobody believes

00:51that this is game of the week no matter what those numbers next their name says

00:54this games on SEC Network it starts at 1245 there's no profit boost associated

01:00with this game whatsoever yet it is ranked ranked for now with a couple of

01:05teams being able to sneak in due to winds over Florida State who's

01:08absolutely terrible though maybe today the interesting thing for me is this

01:14dropping number and if it gets to a flat 14 I'd probably be in on Missouri at

01:17that type of price there is it's very tough to tell the early returns for the

01:23Missouri schedule it's Buffalo it's Murray State it's also as good as you

01:27can do you have it a lot of point the yards per play is all great them is

01:31Missouri if you were trying to give out an award for best defense in college

01:34football they'd at least deserve a seat at the table for two weeks that's pretty

01:37much all you can ask for and I think at times with Missouri the selling point

01:41people want it to be Brady Cook and Luther Burden for Boston College here

01:45going on the road you wonder how much of this is Bill O'Brien just being an a

01:51plus plus plus higher that again I would probably need flat 14 if not

01:55under the back Missouri there's a prop I'll get to in this game that I think

01:58has some value as far as the side though it's tricky because on one end Mizzou's

02:02defense is rock star and on the Boston College side Bill O'Brien's rock star

02:06and a contrast in real styles right you we have Boston College that's averaging

02:10282 rushing yards per game and averaging well over 400 yards in total

02:15offense they want to run it with Castellanos their quarterback and

02:19Ward and on the flip side Brady Cook wants to chuck it right they're

02:22averaging well over 400 yards per game they're averaging 286 through the air

02:26into Kevin's point defense is rock-solid this line was very shocking to me when

02:32it came out in regards to Sunday night because again it was similar to the

02:35Clemson app state line right 16 and a half 17 have stayed very good on the

02:40road and Clemson blew their doors yeah I think they're begging you like I'm not

02:45betting this game personally but when it came out it's like why wouldn't you

02:49want to take Boston College on the roadward O'Brien and Castellanos I think

02:52it could be close for a quarter or two in the second half though I really feel

02:56that Missouri has a speed advantage and that's where I think they pull away the

03:00fact that they're at home SEC going up against ACC that's the different early

03:05returns kept to your point great for both of these teams and for that higher

03:09in Chestnut Hill Bill O'Brien has Boston College ranked in the top 25 for the

03:14first time since 2018 just the second time into the AP top 25 since 2008 this

03:21is the first ranked versus ranked game for the Eagles since Matt Ryan was

03:25quarterbacking things in Chestnut Hill way back in 2007 both teams 2 and 0

03:30against the spread BC won outright victory as an underdog of course and the

03:35upset over Florida State six and four ATS as an underdog since the start of

03:402023 five of those six covers an outright victory and Kevin's

03:44interesting about Boston College with Thomas Castellanos back at the

03:48quarterback spot this is an Eagles offense that has been running the

03:51football 263 against FSU north of 300 last week albeit against an FCS foe in

03:58Duquesne but still more than 300 yards but on the other side you have the

04:02nation's best scoring defense currently averaging 0.0 points per game allowed

04:08because Mizzou has planked its first two opponents Murray State the FCS foe

04:12week number one not a great Buffalo team out of the mat but still you win 31 zip

04:18you do what you can and Cory Batu and the new defensive coordinator taking

04:22over for Blake Baker who was poached by LSU has been really good here in the

04:26opening two games when you're up 89 nothing on aggregate and have allowed

04:29the fewest passing yards per game in the country that's pretty impressive because

04:32teams should exclusively be throwing on you and it's not as if Castellanos

04:36checks in with a huge desire to throw the football today but that's where it

04:40gets interesting if the strength of the Missouri defense is the secondary how

04:44effective will that be here against Boston College I will say on Missouri

04:48this is now two weeks in a row where you've mentioned how where they are

04:52ranked and I truly I know you always know your stuff I go and say well he

04:55just said the completely wrong thing you what you started like six ranked

04:59Missouri I'm like this kid's nuts he's going off his own top ten what's he

05:01talking I can't believe every time they're in your your own top ten I'm

05:05Missouri and they're sixth in the country it doesn't even feel right to me

05:09that's what is one of the things that makes this such an exciting matchup is

05:12to see if Missouri can live up to that type of number of sixth in the country

05:18feels like a sure-flyer you know college football playoff team I'll say this

05:21quickly as far as the problem on today Luther burdened over seven and a half

05:24receiving yards it's an attempt to buy low last season burden had a 33% target

05:30share with this Missouri group off to this start this year 10.1 he has seven

05:35targets in two games do we as a 29% target share all sudden he's wide

05:40receiver one he's a little banged up coming into this football game it's also

05:44the first real opponent they're playing which is I think we can all agree on

05:47which should get the football to burden a little bit more books would have

05:50expected that they would be posting him in the mid 90s to get 70 and a half I'm

05:54going over Luther bird I like to look and the reason why I say that is because

05:57Boston College has given up 173 passing yards per game but they weren't

06:01challenged by Duquesne and certainly weren't challenged really by Florida

06:05State in regards to the first half it was in a second half type of environment

06:09after they built a double-digit lead right so start in regards to Brady Cook

06:14and that offense if they challenge them early then they're going to be up

06:17against it haven't allowed a touchdown just yet through the air we'll see if

06:20they give it up today
