00:25and you elevate the veteran Dalton to become your starting

00:29quarterback. The Panthers a five and a half point road

00:31underdog in Las Vegas for week number three. A disastrous

00:35winless 0-2 start for Carolina, Joe, after being the worst team

00:40in the National Football League a season ago at 2-15. What was

00:45your reaction to Dave Canales' decision to bench Bryce Young

00:49yesterday? Am I shocked that they did it? No. Am I shocked

01:22yards on 26 pass attempts and when I tell you most of those

01:27pass attempts weren't even close, there is clearly

01:31something broken here and I think if the coach legit thinks

01:35that the best thing for this guy to do is kind of sit down

01:39because he's obviously in his own head at this point, Ben. I

01:42mean, he's been it since he got into the league. He has been the

01:45most scrutinized top draft pick that we've seen in a very, very

01:48long time. You know, mentally, it's gotta take its toll and I

01:52think if Canales figures, the best thing that can happen is

01:55let Dalton, let the vet get in here, get some snaps, let him

01:59take the pressure off and kinda regroup and we'll take it from

02:02there. They're not planning on winning a Super Bowl. That was

02:05never what was in the cards but if you're gonna lose him

02:08mentally, then you gotta get him off the field. Uh Ben,

02:12you're not gonna help this kid if you keep him out there the

02:14way you've been doing it.
