00:00Well, it was a wild finish.

00:04People in Philadelphia certainly did enjoy the ending and an unbelievable drive by Kirk

00:10Cousins who showed absolutely nothing for basically seven quarters of the season.

00:16But the light switch just went on on that last drive.

00:19There's a lot of talk about the Saquon Barkley drop and play.

00:23There were so many things that the Eagles did wrong not to win that football game.

00:28And it's kind of a pattern with Sirianni being unable to just win winnable games.

00:34I'll take you back to the first quarter, Scott, and it was a very similar situation with the

00:39Rams and the Lions on the first Sunday night.

00:42First quarter, early in the game, McVay goes for it instead of just taking three points

00:47and taking a 3-0 lead.

00:50And game ends up going to overtime.

00:52Last night, very similar situation.

00:55Sirianni decides to go for it, Scott, late in the first quarter of a scoreless football

01:00game.

01:01Like, there's no shame in just taking a 3-0 lead.

01:04Lo and behold, they end up losing the football game by one point after.

01:08So there were a lot of passes that got them to where they were.

01:13And something that's lost in this, too, Scott, listen, it was a terrible play call in the

01:18sense of the risk-reward isn't there, right?

01:22You run the football, you can still get the first down.

01:25They were out of timeouts.

01:26The one thing you don't want to do is let them stop the clock, and you did it for them,

01:32right?

01:33So that should have been brought up.

01:34And Sirianni never really accepts responsibility, and we can get to that in a second, as well

01:39as we saw the multiple coaching changes and coordinators coming in and out of here all

01:45the time.

01:46But, Scott, on the play with Saquon Barkley, Juden jumped offside, bro, right?

01:54So Juden jumped offside, but he got back on time.

01:58Nobody on the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line moved.

02:02All they would have had to do is basically just snap the ball, move, touch him.

02:09Nobody moved, right?

02:11They had their opportunity.

02:13That's where you don't have when Kelsey's all lit up in the parking lot having a great

02:17time instead of being on the field.

02:19It should have been a penalty on the Falcons, but the Eagles offensive line didn't react

02:23to it.

02:25So Juden got back in time.

02:26Then they throw the ball, and then they kick the field goal, and somehow they allow the

02:30drive after.

02:33If anything, Scott, you can take joy in knowing that if there's any fan base that's more

02:39livid watching their team choke like that, it's Philadelphia.

02:43So you know you have an angry fan base leaving that stadium after.

02:49Listen, guys, a couple of years ago when they had Steichen and Gannon, it was a crisp operation.

02:55Well, we look.

02:56Look how good Gannon is.

02:57We talked about him, Scott, before the year started.

02:59I said I was high on Arizona.

03:01I'm a big, big fan of Kyler Murray.

03:03I'm a big fan of this coach.

03:05And Steichen, you know, I think Steichen's a good coach as well.

03:08He's got a challenge right now in Indianapolis.

03:09If you look at Sirianni, different coordinators last year.

03:13He throws Brian Johnson, the OCR, to the bus, fine.

03:17He's a defensive coordinator.

03:18He took away the play-calling duties last year in season.

03:23It caused friction within the room because they thought Sirianni was throwing coaches

03:27under the bus.

03:28And here we go again early in the season right now.

03:31Well, you know, I don't call the plays.

03:33You're the head coach, bro.

03:34The game's on the line.

03:35You're standing right beside him.

03:36Don't pretend.

03:37Yeah, they're wearing a headset, Scott.

03:42It was your decision to go for it on fourth down early.

03:47You know, I know it's early and I don't like being that guy, but Sirianni's seat's going

03:51to start to warm up fast, Scott, in Philadelphia.

03:54They have a ton of talent.

03:56They don't have a ton of patience.

03:57And if there's just sort of constant chaos within the room and the coaching staff, there's

04:03going to be problems moving forward.

04:05You know, Gabe, it's unbelievable to me how many late game blow-ups they've had from the

04:12end of last season, the last seven weeks, and then here they are two weeks into the

04:18season and they have another one in under two minutes left in the game.

04:24And Jalen Hurts, too, Scott.

04:25And Jalen Hurts, who in the first half of the first game against Green Bay, very sloppy,

04:29casually throwing the ball up, turning the football over.

04:33Green Bay left points on the field.

04:34They should have won that football game.

04:38And then you look, you know, I thought that he looked good in the second half, specifically

04:41in the fourth quarter against the Packers.

04:43I expected it to continue and he did make plays, but then he just casually, carelessly

04:49throws the ball away late, Scott.

04:52There was no need to do it.

04:53They still had another timeout left.

04:55It was first down.

04:56There was no need for him to force that throw.

05:00And especially with Elliott, all they needed was like another 15 yards and they were going

05:05to be in field goal range.

05:06So, you know, we can look at the Barkley play, Scott, but there was a whole timeline and

05:11a million things that went wrong for them.

05:13It's early in the season.

05:15It is what it is.

05:16They're in a bad division.

05:18But that was a sloppy effort by them last night.

05:20And for Kirk Cousins, gives them a little bit of confidence right now going back home.

05:25They host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.
