00:00Does it help that Billy is also very self-aware when it comes to the food that he chooses?

00:07Oh, it's not.

00:08It's not, right?

00:09He's not.

00:10He used to follow a keto diet before.

00:13Yeah, because of me.

00:14But I try to police in the house when it comes to nutrition.

00:19I don't deprive him or anybody of like...

00:22So you see Amari, for example, we try not to give him sugar every day.

00:26So that's what we try to avoid, sugar.

00:28And we don't necessarily eat food that will make us skinnier,

00:32but we try to eat food that will make us healthier.

00:35Because what I limit is not the fat, but the bad part.

00:41So anything with artificial ingredients, anything that's too high in sodium or high in sugar,

00:48that's what I limit.

00:50How are you when it comes to managing your household budget?

00:54Are you the one who's hands-on?

00:56Yes, yes. I'm very hands-on with that.

00:58So, of course, it's nice to spoil yourself every now and then.

01:02But when it comes to that, we really limit ourselves.

01:05One thing that we're very generous with, with the budget, is food.

01:10Really food.

01:11So that's one thing that we never feel guilty about spending on.

01:14It's food.

01:15Because it's essential.

01:17You always want the best for your family.

01:19And then everything else, I really have a hard time with everything else.

01:24Billy allows you to make decisions when it comes to what you need to buy for the house, everything?

01:31Well, with the house, he's not very picky and he's not very hands-on with furniture and everything.

01:38He knows I enjoy it, and so he lets me decide with the furniture and with everything needed in the house.

01:45Because he knows I love turning the house into a home.

01:48And in turn, it really makes it comfortable for everybody.

01:51So he trusts me with that completely because I don't want to splurge so much.

01:56But I spend on the things that matter.

01:58What's the recent household or home project that you did?

02:03Well, we just recently moved houses.

02:06So we had to start from scratch.

02:08We had to redo everything from curtains.

02:11We used a lot of our old furniture.

02:13So it was a matter of incorporating the old and updating it with a few touches that make it more fit for the personality of the new home.

02:22Why did you move houses?

02:24Because actually, I'm from that area originally.

02:30And then I moved to Quezon City a long time ago because we had a daily show.

02:34And it was very convenient during that time.

02:37But it was always part of the plan that we wouldn't be in daily shows forever.

02:42We would be working as much as we used to forever.

02:45So now we're just in that time in our life also where we're settling down with our child.

02:51And it's been great so far.

02:53Life has been a lot slower.

02:55Everything is close to where we live.

02:58So overall, it's a better environment for our son.

03:02So when you chose it, did you choose a bigger space or a garden?

03:09Actually, because when we purchased our old home, we only had ourselves in mind.

03:15We didn't know what it was like to have a child.

03:18So there were a lot of elements in our house that were unsafe.

03:22Corners?

03:23Yeah, and not just that.

03:25The high ceiling and the second floor.

03:28It was scary.

03:30I feel like it was about right.

03:32The house was really not ideal.

03:35But we're so happy now.
