00:00What we are witnessing now is no ordinary legislative inquiry.

00:07This exercise is a well-funded and coordinated political attack.

00:13This much is evident from the very words of the privileged speech that prompted this inquiry.

00:23A speech that's simply meant to say, do not vote for Sara on 2028.

00:31It is clear to me that this inquiry is not about misused funds, accountability, or governance.

00:39Instead, it is solely aimed at discrediting my name and my office to prevent future political contests.

00:53So, you may try to destroy me. You can skin me alive and throw my ashes to the wind.

01:03But let it be known, you will find me unbowed.

01:10I will continue to serve the Filipino people no matter the personal cost or political intrigue.

01:20Having said that, I will not allow myself to be subjected to an inquiry based on an empty privileged speech.

01:29Just so you can attack me and do indirectly what you failed to do directly during the budget hearings.

01:40I therefore request this committee to terminate this inquiry for its clear lack of any proposed legislation or substantive matter for discussion.

01:56If you feel that all the documentary submissions are not enough, then by all means, don't give a budget.

02:06To be honest, your budget is not enough because it is very easy to remove a budget.

02:18What you are trying to do is make a case for impeachment.

02:26I am not a candidate for the upcoming election.

02:31I am not a politician.

02:33What I am doing is fulfilling my oath of office and campaign platforms, namely work, education, and a peaceful life.

02:49As I have said before and repeated several times, I am not the problem of this country.

03:02The real problem of this country is hunger, poverty, illegal drugs, criminality, and terrorism.

03:14The lack of health care, quality education, and infrastructure for disasters.

03:24So, you may try to destroy me.
