00:00Devs United Games brings you Aquascape the same team that brought us the
00:16brilliant real fishing VR. Who would have thought that designing fish tank
00:21interiors would be so relaxing and so fun. So the game takes place in your
00:26workshop and the surroundings look great. The shelves filled with books,
00:30products, tanks, everything that a designer needs. So getting into the game
00:36you pick up an order then that order will tell you what they require in their
00:41aquarium. Such as how many rocks, plants, wood or decorations. You then go to the
00:47shop menu and start building. Starting with topsoil then adding and designing
00:53whatever is needed. Then the important step of adding the water and finally add
00:58the fish. Once you have added everything on that list you head back over to the
01:03order page and click on complete. Where you shall then be rewarded with XP and
01:08money. As you level up XP you begin to unlock more plants, wood, stones,
01:14decorations, equipment and fish. You also can read the customers review on the job
01:20you did for them over on the review page. So I only ran into a few minor bugs
01:25whilst playing. Like the angelfish seemed to be spazzing out while swimming in the
01:30tank. And then occasionally when I was trying to make a rock bigger my hands
01:35got stuck to it and I couldn't put it down in the aquarium. But you could just
01:39remove the rock out of the aquarium to reset. This also has mixed reality and it
01:44looks superb. It's just the aquarium and your workbench but it's pretty cool. Now
01:49I played this for almost two hours which is not bad for early access. But
01:54I'm just wondering will this have as much replayability appeal as real
01:59fishing VR has. And as it stands I think it doesn't. Now my biggest problem with
02:05this game is how the fish can swim through rocks and basically everything
02:10in the aquarium. Including other fish. I absolutely hate it. So they really got to
02:17make it so fish and objects are solid. I do like how you can take a rock or the
02:22grass and then adjust its size using your other hand in like a stretching
02:28motion. That's a nice touch. But as far as volume goes this game is gonna need way
02:34more decorations and fish and grass and rocks and so on. And then with that they
02:39will need to rethink how they are displayed. So there are maybe 30 items
02:44per page instead of eight. As it'll be annoying having to go through so many
02:48pages of eight items rather than a couple of pages of 30 or more items. Then
02:54there's aquariums. Currently there's only one and it's in one size. I hope they
03:00will add many more designs of aquariums and that range in different sizes from a
03:05standard goldfish bowl right up to a massive aquarium. Like at least three
03:10times bigger than the one they currently have. Also how about a display room where
03:15you can freestyle it and design your own aquariums and have somewhere to go view
03:19them. I'd also like to see the products working. Like the bubbles and the filters.
03:24Also have the audio noises working for them also. As those two noises are so
03:29relaxing. I also didn't notice any temperature change when I added a heater.
03:34So I hope this also gets addressed. Another big thing is they need to add an
03:39option to turn off the music and also be able to play your own music. Because
03:45after 30 minutes I had to turn my quest volume down as I was fed up of listening
03:50to that same old track. But being able to play your own music while creating would
03:55be massively beneficial. The story is good and simple. People order from you.
04:00You make it. You get rewarded. But I think it needs something more. Maybe have a
04:05game where you are shown a photo and you have to copy it as best as you can.
04:11There must be other ideas. Maybe you guys have some. Leave them down in the
04:16comments as I'd love to hear them. I love that this is something completely
04:20different. And again it's so relaxing. I think this is definitely one to keep
04:25your eye on going into the future. So anyway if you enjoyed this video then
04:30please push that like button. If you have any ideas or suggestions for this game
04:34then drop a comment as maybe the developers might read them. Then come be
04:38part of this growing community and hit that subscribe button. Thanks guys and
04:42happy gaming.
