00:00Well, it's been a week, once in a lifetime experience for yourself.

00:05You start the week in Italy, you come back here to Mars Stadium, you win a Premiership,

00:10you're first in a long time, and then you're jumping back on the plane, heading back overseas

00:14in a couple of days.

00:15Well, wow, what an experience.

00:16Yeah mate, it's been a, it's a crazy week for me, it's probably the craziest week of

00:21my life.

00:22I took off, I got married on Tuesday, celebrated on Wednesday with the Mrs, or the wife now,

00:30and then on Thursday morning we took off from Positano in Italy, had to make my way to Rome

00:36Airport, fly over, stop in Dubai, to Melbourne, added all the hours up, probably 32 hours

00:44to have travelled to get here, so yeah, real happy with it, glad I came, it was well worth

00:51it.

00:52That sounds like what fairy tales are made of, it certainly is.

00:56Oh mate, yeah, it was so worth it, I can't believe we won.

00:59I'm wrapped.

01:00You know, you came to the club at the start of the year, really probably stepping into

01:04the unknown, a club that's been battling, you've arrived with a big band of new players,

01:09you didn't probably, well you didn't know most of them, what's the experience been like?

01:13Oh mate, the recruits we had, like the Werby boys, Schrodes, even my best mate, Matty Pitt

01:22came over, we took him out of retirement, yeah, it's just been awesome, we've really

01:27gelled together so well, like we're a bit of an older group, and we sort of bonded through

01:33that because we're a bit older, and yeah, it's just worked so well this year, we've

01:37just turned it on when it mattered most today, and yeah, so happy with it.

01:42Okay, so yeah, got the job done, at what point of the game did you think were there, because

01:48Bungaree, they're going to keep coming at you, and even that last quarter, you know.

01:52That's it, well they did, they had the wind in the last quarter, and we just had to, I reckon

01:57we just had to hold on until about the 15-20 minute mark, I started to, I couldn't stop

02:01smiling with about 10, 5-10 minutes left, because I sort of felt like we had it, and

02:05then we kicked, I think we kicked 1 or 2 with about 5 minutes left, and I just knew it was

02:10over, I knew we had it then, so the celebration started.

02:14Just on game plan, the defence worked so well today, you're under constant pressure, those

02:19intercept marks, you've made a big mark this season in the competition, with your marking

02:26ability, your attacking, running off half-back, but back there you had Sam O'Brien, Trent

02:31Nez, but I don't know how many intercept marks you guys took in your defensive 50, but you

02:36just bonded so well.

02:38Yeah, they were great today, Nez, Sammy, even Passeron, I don't even know what his name

02:44is, but he's supposed to be a good player, sorry to that bloke, yeah they were awesome

02:49today, everything just came together today, it seemed like the weather sort of played

02:55in our favour, and yeah, just wrapped with it.

02:59Alright, well you're going to have a big night, and you're going to have a big week

03:02travelling back to Italy.

03:03I hope they're not too big, I've got a plane to catch.
