00:19the new hub, made thanks to an investment on the territory of 70 million euros.
00:23It is the 12th logistics center of the idol in Italy, capable of creating 140 new jobs
00:29for an overall organic of about 650 people throughout the island.
00:34During the day, which saw, among others, the participation of the president of the idol
00:38Italy, Massimiliano Silvestri, it was also announced that other 40 points of sale will be opened
00:43in the peninsula.
00:44The response of the territory has been absolutely positive.
00:48I myself, first of all, participated in some selection activities.
00:53I must say, I recognize that many young Sardinians who then applied, I really found a great enthusiasm
01:03on their part, a great desire to get involved and to grow professionally.
01:08Some of these already had a job stability, but it has taken in us, perhaps, something

01:16The realization of the new regional direction is born from the need of the idol Italy to
01:20face the continuous expansion on the territory and will allow to shorten the distances and significantly reduce
01:25the kilometers traveled for the supply of the current 23 points of sale to Sardinia.
01:30The structure will be operational from October 1st and will allow to take a step forward towards
01:34an increasingly sustainable and efficient logistics with a savings of more than 5000 tons of CO2.
01:40This area has been identified to finally have in Sardinia the hub that will provide all
01:47the idol companies in Sardinia, so we no longer have to depend on the offshore, but
01:54in Assemblies there will be everything necessary to distribute the idol products in all the
