00:00Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel.
00:05Today I'm sharing with you how to make an Oreo milkshake.
00:08This is simple and easy to make and tastes delicious so if you would like to learn how
00:12to make it then let's get started.
00:17The first thing I'm doing is picking out a glass to serve the milkshake in.
00:21You can either go for a traditional tall milkshake glass or you can use a mason jar like I am.
00:27To make the milkshake look extra good I'm starting off with decorating the glass with
00:30chocolate syrup.
00:32You can skip this step if you would like but I think it gives a great effect to the milkshake.
00:37Take your glass and tip it to the side, pouring a small amount of syrup out.
00:41The syrup will start to run down the side of the glass as you continue.
00:45Once you are happy with the design set the glass to the side while we make the milkshake.
00:50For this milkshake you will only need a few ingredients and a blender.
00:54The recipe will be listed in the information box as well as on my website so just click
00:59the link on the screen now.
01:00The first ingredient is milk.
01:02You can use whatever kind of milk you would like here, I'm just going with regular milk.
01:07Measure out the milk and pour it into the blender.
01:13To the milk we're going to add some vanilla ice cream.
01:16I'm using vanilla because it's plain and won't take too much attention away from the
01:20Oreo flavour but you could use any flavour you would like.
01:24Use an ice cream scoop to scoop about 2 medium sized scoops of ice cream.
01:28Place these into the blender with the milk.
01:31This recipe has quite a liquidy milkshake but if you would like it thicker just add
01:35another scoop of ice cream.
01:46And the last ingredient is of course Oreos.
01:48I'm using 6 for this recipe but make sure you have a few extra to garnish the milkshake
01:53at the end.
01:54Add these straight to the blender, there's no need to break them up at all.
02:02Place on the lid and begin to blend the milkshake together.
02:05This shouldn't take long, about 20 seconds or so.
02:08You don't want to blend it for too long as the ice cream will begin to melt and the milkshake
02:12will have a very liquidy consistency.
02:23Before serving check the consistency and either add more milk or leave it as it is.
