00:00Can you kind of walk me through the proposal?

00:02Yeah, it was so he took me to San Ysidro Ranch,

00:05which is a very exclusive, quiet,

00:09probably the most romantic place I've been so far.

00:13And we were at dinner and he just,

00:17he went to the restroom and I did not,

00:18I was trying to put out a fire at home on my phone.

00:21And so he told me after the fact that he was like,

00:25when I was on the phone trying to help one of my kids,

00:27he was in his jacket, like trying to get the ring out.

00:30And then he did it without me saying it.

00:32And then he stuck it, he said he stuck it down here.

00:34And then he just, we were reminiscing about,

00:37cause it was our nine month anniversary.

00:38So we were reminiscing just about all the nine months

00:41and our love for each other.

00:43And then he was, he said something,

00:45I can't remember it all and it's so frustrating

00:47because it's like such a special moment,

00:49but he had like kind of had tears in his eyes

00:52and he's just like,

00:53that's why I just can't wait any longer.

00:55And he pulled it out.

00:56I'm like, oh my gosh, like if he's at a restaurant,

00:58you know, so, and there weren't very many people there.

01:01It was very exclusive, but yeah, it was, it was awesome.

01:05I just started bawling and, and yeah.

01:08So.

01:09That's great.

01:10I mean, you know, have you, I know it just happened.

01:12So you're probably not even in wedding plan mode yet,

01:15but do you want to have a long engagement, short engagement?

01:18Are you in wedding plan, planning mode?

01:21We actually are already planning.

01:23Actually visited one possible venue.

01:27It's really about locking the venue down.

01:29I'm assuming it'll probably be by next summer.

01:32It just depends on the venue,

01:34but we are doing a very unorthodox, unconventional wedding.

01:39We're not, I don't want to walk down another aisle,

01:41but my son did ask to give me to John,

01:44which I think is touching and it made me cry.

01:47So we're going to have to figure all of that out.

01:49And we're still working through some of the details,

01:51but once we find the venue,

01:53then it's full throttle.

01:54Cause I'll be able to figure out what dress.

01:55I don't want a typical wedding dress.

01:58Like I said, I don't want to walk down the aisle.

01:59So, you know, we'll,

02:00we'll start figuring out more details then.

02:03I love that.

02:04That's so wonderful.

02:05What was Jim's reaction?

02:06Does he have a nice relationship with John?

02:08Yeah.

02:09Well, John had been around a few times to family events,

02:11like James's graduation,

02:13another party that we threw for James.

02:15So they had been in the same vicinity and met before.

02:19A track meet, I think was one of them.

02:21And, you know,

02:22Jim did text me right after he found out

02:26and just said, congratulations.
