Synopsis: Season 1, Episode 10 - Dead Air(1992) part Nº1

Discoveries of strangled women and the CTOK radio-show hosted by Dr. Christina Noble (Diane Cary), the radios phone-in psychiatrist, has Det. Nick Knight (Geraint Wyn Davies) and partner, Det. Don Schanke (John Kapelos) following leads to locate an ex-patient of hers, Matthew Reed (David Hewlett). When 15 years of age, Matthew killed his mother and as a patient of Dr. Nobles, beyond her expertise, he was sent to a mental institution which he escapes years later. Reliving his mothers cruelty and the Doctors inability to help him, believing he was lied and cheated, he kills the women slowly, calling the radio-show for recognition of a hunger that is never satisfied. Now he has Dr. Noble as his next victim while Nick with partner Don work the radio-show, taking calls and phone tracing to locate the Doctor before she meets a similar fate.
