Take a look inside an easyJet cockpit

On an easyJet flight from Luton Airport to Amsterdam, the plane was stuck on the tarmac for an hour - and so the pilot allowed passengers to see inside the cockpit.

00:00You never normally get to do this, everything in between.

00:04So what we'll do is one person will be flying it and the other person will be monitoring it.

00:09They'll call you twice and say, oh hi!

00:12So many buttons.

00:14So I've got four, he's got three.

00:16When you're in the air, you can sit and watch.

00:19When I started flying, we could still have people on the flight going.

00:22When you're flying manually.

00:23September 11th.

00:24So it wasn't 9-11.

00:26You know, we've got levels each other.

00:28Breaks.

00:29Like say, you know, one table.

00:32The engineers will come out and say the captain's table's broken.

00:35It might be a bigger problem, so they'll come out.

00:38If it doesn't seem quite right, you can query it.

00:40And then we'll switch over for that.

00:42So is it the same space?

00:44Yeah, pretty much everything's doubled up.

00:46That's the captain's side, so sometimes...
