00:11Kota Kinabalu City Hall ordered the closure following an incident on Wednesday morning

00:16where otters posed a threat to park visitors.

00:20Mayor Datuk Seri Sabin Samita confirmed that a notice was issued to suspend all park activities

00:26until further notice.

00:28He emphasised that the closure is necessary to protect visitors, while the council, along

00:33with relevant agencies, conducts further investigations.

00:38The mayor urged the public to comply with the closure for their safety.

00:42On Wednesday, Maria Sela Harun was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being attacked

00:47by a pack of otters while jogging at the park.

00:51Two other joggers who came to her aid were also attacked.
