00:00With the Convention, a competitive national hydrogen supply chain, opportunities and challenges of the sector,
00:10the third edition of Hydrogen Expo has opened today, the largest Italian convention show entirely dedicated to the hydrogen supply chain,
00:17the energy vector of the future, taking place in the pavilions of Piacenza Expo until September 13.
00:23With 24 conventions, which already have more than 1,530 pre-registrations,
00:28Hydrogen Expo is an important opportunity for networking and exchange for the operators of the sector.
00:34There are 200 exhibitors. I would like to underline that the first edition of June 2022 had just over 30,
00:44so the leap in a very short period of time was remarkable.
00:50We are certainly the largest Italian convention show and one of the largest and well-known internationally,
00:57thanks to the networking and promotion abroad of the event.
01:03Fundamental for the progress of the sector is to put to the ground all the industrial projects of the PNRR,
01:09which dedicates 3.6 billion euros to hydrogen in Italy by June 2026.
01:14We are starting to see concrete actions, because what is important today is to launch a new market for hydrogen,
01:27in short, the national plan of hydrogen that is enabling, that provides short, medium and long-term actions,
01:36that is enabling for investments.
01:39Part of the incentives on which we have been insisting for a long time,
01:43and we have seen the financing of the refueling stations and the Hydrogen Valleys, 52 Hydrogen Valleys,
01:52and then finally the infrastructures, because without infrastructure we will not be able to have a market for hydrogen.
01:59The presence of the Piacentine companies, 15 of which are present at the Kermes,
02:04and of the Emilia-Romagna region, which has dedicated a section of its energy and regional plan to hydrogen.
02:09We have put together universities, research centers, enterprises,
02:13we have the largest investment in hydrogen, which will be made by a discharge-discharge with ERA and SNAM.
02:19We have made a contribution of 20 million euros to make competitive these structures, these innovative operations.
02:30I think that on mobility there will be some news, because the big companies are going in that direction,
02:36but we have also done the first experimentation of putting hydrogen mixed in the pipes with gas.
02:43It is the right way, we have to keep all the mix of renewables,
02:47and hydrogen is objectively the most advanced technology from a green point of view,
02:52and we have to cut costs.
