00:00The first debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump took place Tuesday night in Philadelphia,
00:05and most agree it was a combative affair. During the matchup, the pair were asked about Trump's
00:10recent faux pas when he said that Harris only recently became a black person to suit her
00:15political needs. Harris responded previously, saying essentially that's par for the course
00:19for the GOP nominee. But at the debate, she extrapolated further. I mean, honestly,
00:24I think it's a tragedy that we have someone who wants to be president who has consistently,
00:31over the course of his career, attempted to use race to divide the American people.
00:37Meanwhile, Donald Trump continued to go after Haitian asylum seekers in Ohio,
00:41repeating the claims they are eating people's pets. Claims even Springfield,
00:45Ohio's local police have said is not true. Eating the dogs, the people that came in,
00:50they're eating the cats. They're eating. They're eating the pets of the people that live there.
00:58And this is what's happening in our country. And it's a shame. Trump also alleged that Harris was
01:03the preeminent negotiator prior to Russia invading Ukraine, which the vice president
01:08also refuted that war should have never started. She was the emissary. They sent her in to negotiate
01:14with Zelensky and Putin. And she did. And the war started three days later.
01:20Yet again, I said at the beginning of the debate, you're going to hear a bunch of lies coming from
01:23this fellow. And that is another one. So who won the debate? Well,
01:27if you're counting wins by Taylor Swift endorsements,
01:29then it was Harris as shortly after Swift did just that.
