00:00I was privileged to work with Roland for just over 35 years and what was the peak of a telephone

00:05would be great to take up in those days and Roland was a consummate professional photographer

00:11with quite exacting standards but we did manage to have a laugh every now and again.

00:18Yeah, everything had to be right, there was no cutting corners or I'll leave it till tomorrow,

00:26everything was done there and then and it was done correctly and then you move on to the next job.

00:35I was used to that, we were all old school at the time for goodness sake you know.

00:42Yeah so Roland was on duty at the Posh when we played Liverpool in a cup competition,

00:47every photographer was down at the Liverpool attack end waiting for the goals, Roland sat

00:52in his own at the Posh attack, along came one of the strikers,

00:55put the ball at the back of the net and we beat Liverpool. Once again, lucky man.
