00:04Today I'll be giving you a demo of the Google Chromebook,
00:07which has just reached Australian shores.
00:09This here is the Google Pixelbook Go,
00:13and I'll be explaining to you some of its features
00:16and how this can benefit your organisation.
00:19The Pixelbook Go feels like a premium Chromebook
00:22with its painted magnesium, soft-touch keyboard,
00:25which is also backlit.
00:27It only weighs 900 grams.
00:29It has a good-sized 13.3-inch touchscreen,
00:33which is also full HD,
00:35and you can work on it all day long without needing to charge
00:38as the battery lasts an amazing 12 hours.
00:41It's very powerful for a Chromebook
00:43with its i5 8th Gen Intel Core processor.
00:47It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
00:52You can even store Microsoft Windows in a virtual environment
00:55so you can run any Windows apps if need be.
00:58It boots and resumes in seconds,
01:00stays fast over time with automatic updates in the background,
01:04and you can connect multiple monitors via USB-C port with an adapter,
01:09as well as many other devices.
01:12Now I'll show you how to enroll your Chromebook
01:14as part of Chrome Enterprise
01:16so you can manage all your Chromebooks
01:18centrally from the Google Admin Console.
01:21First you want to log into your Wi-Fi.
01:25Just let it install its updates if need be.
01:34So then you'll get taken to the login screen.
01:38So if you're using Chrome Enterprise,
01:40you want to click on More Options here.
01:43Select Enterprise Enrollment.
01:49Now you need to put in an email address
01:52for someone which has super admin privileges
01:56in G Suite or Google Workspace.
02:01And then we'll be enrolling the device.
02:06You just click on Complete.
02:10As you can see, it's brought across my desktop wallpaper
02:13for my company which is managed,
02:15and you'll just enter any person's email address
02:18and you'll be able to log in with that particular user.
02:23And you can see at the end here,
02:24it adds in your particular domain name.
02:42There you go.
02:43It automatically opens up.
02:44You can see all my particular tabs
02:46which are already set up come through.
02:49All my Chrome extensions automatically
02:52are getting installed.
02:55Yeah, so that's a great thing with Chrome.
02:57Even if you change devices,
03:00as soon as you log in, all your stuff will follow you.
03:03It doesn't matter which device.
03:05And you can also share that with multiple users.
03:10So I'll show you a few features of using Chromebook.
03:12We'll start off with using the trackpad.
03:14So obviously you use one finger,
03:16but if you use two fingers,
03:18you can scroll up and down.
03:20So if I just open up a website,
03:27let's say you can use two fingers,
03:29scroll up and down.
03:31If you go left and right,
03:33it'll actually go backwards and forwards.
03:36It's like one page foot backwards.
03:38If you go to the right, that goes forward.
03:41You can even use three fingers.
03:43Three fingers will, if you scroll down,
03:47it will show you all your different tabs.
03:50Scroll back up, it will go back to where it was the last tab.
03:54And you can also, if you tap three fingers
03:57on a particular tab,
03:59it'll just close it for you.
04:04As you can see there.
04:07Another feature of Chromebooks is
04:09you get access to the Android Play Store.
04:12So you can install many Android apps
04:14as well as Chrome apps.
04:16You just click on the play at the bottom here.
04:21It'll search for whatever you're after.
04:31And then you just install the app.

04:54So the great thing with Chromebooks is
04:58a lot of organizations can save at least 50%
05:01on all their IT costs when implementing Chrome
05:04over, let's say, Microsoft Windows or an Apple network.
05:07Yeah, they're far cheaper, they're simpler to use,
05:10more secure.
05:12And yeah, this is basically our proof of concept.
