00:00So there isn't a lot of choice of car racing games on the quest currently but
00:05I found Car Rally X to be one of the best of them so far. The menus are simple
00:13and well laid out. The controls are easy enough though I really wish they would
00:18make a wheel and pedals for the quest in these games to take it to the next level.
00:23You can choose what you want to have displayed in your car in the settings
00:28but I turned most of it off apart from the co-navigator instructions as the
00:33rest of it is too distracting. If you want a harder challenge that gives
00:38greater awards then turn it off and just listen to your co-navigator who
00:43incidentally it would be nice if he had more movement rather than looking like a
00:47mannequin. Just a thumbs up from him or turn his head to you when you look at
00:53him it would be nice and it would make all the difference. I like that you have
00:58to complete your licenses to open up new race championships and that you can
01:03only pick from a few cars in each championship so you will have to buy
01:07certain cars to compete in certain championships. There is 35 championships
01:14to pick from, special stages, challenges, events or you can just pick free ride.
01:21Pick from beginner, amateur, master, pro and world-class. It also says that a
01:29multiplayer feature will be coming soon though it's been saying that for a
01:33couple of months now. The garage looks great there is a fine selection of cars
01:39to buy and pick from which you can upgrade, fine-tune and then test. Don't
01:44forget to repair the damages after your races though. The car that you have
01:49selected will also be next to you in full form with dirt or snow attached to
01:53it if you don't clean it. The tracks are a little short especially at the
01:58beginning of the game but as you progress the tracks do get longer and
02:02slightly more challenging. This would also be a nice touch if you could
02:07customize the length of track or how many laps that you can do. There is also
02:11many weather conditions from snow, rain, sun, day and night. I like that I can just
02:19sit down and play this game. It's not by any means perfect but I have found it's
02:24the best one currently available. So with that I score this game a 26 out of 30.
