00:00Time and perspective changes over the years, and I know that, you know, some of the things that she said sometimes rub people the wrong way.

00:06And I know that Chelsea Handler spoke out and was like, you know, I really appreciate her now, even though maybe she said some things.

00:13Have other people reached out to you in the years since and been like, you know what, maybe I shouldn't have taken it so seriously?

00:20Oh, absolutely. You know, we went to so far, one direction, and then everybody kept saying we miss her.

00:30And it's bittersweet.

00:34Yeah. Old Fashioned Police was must-see TV.

00:38Yes, couldn't do that anymore.

00:40No, couldn't do that anymore.

00:41Couldn't, and everybody's like, I've come up with a way. I'm like, okay, let's hear this.

00:45Because it's not like I haven't sat around and thought, how could we redo this?

00:48And there's no way. There's no way.

00:52I mean, I could imitate what it would sound like, but it would be like, I wouldn't watch it.

00:55No, right. Yeah, because you'd always be on high alert.

00:59Yeah, you can't, you know, you would have to qualify everything.

01:04Now, I don't think it's my favorite dress, but that's not saying that the actress wearing it isn't beautiful and body positive

01:16and a good person and stops and pets all animals on the street and such a wonderful, caring person.

01:24I'm not sure that this is necessarily the dress I would have picked,

01:28but that's not saying it's not beautiful.

01:30And the designer is a genius and also a wonderful human being.

01:35And they go and feed children in another country and give so much back

01:41and are very inclusive with their body positivity.

01:44And most of their thing, I think the dress is a work of art.

01:49But I'm not sure this is the match I would make.

01:51How long would you watch that for?

01:54Yeah, you just can't do it.

01:56You can't do it. You can't do it.

01:58And it goes back to, you know, again, I think we did need to have some sort of a reckoning.

02:04Sure.

02:04Because people were being mean and not funny.

02:07Yeah, there's a fine line.

02:10And people know where that is.

02:13Unfortunately, people didn't care where that was.

02:16So I think there had to be a step towards inclusivity and sensitivity, but it went too far.

02:24And by the way, my mother was the most sensitive and the most inclusive.

02:27So I think it would have been very hard for her.

02:29But I don't think she would have backed down.

02:31No, never. Of course, it's not in her nature.

02:33Not in her nature.

02:34And she would have so much material making fun of what was going on.

02:39You know, it's like I always say to Cooper, the world is in a safe space.

02:43Prepare yourself.

02:44Prepare, yeah.
