00:00The pancreas is important for regulating blood sugar amongst other things. It's
00:06also important in putting digestive enzymes into the digestive tract to help
00:11with digestion. But where is it? Here's the stomach. So if I remove the stomach we
00:19can see the pancreas. There it is there. Here's the spleen and here's the
00:23duodenum, the first part of the small intestine. We can see the duct in the
00:29pancreas is ducting those exocrine secretions into the duodenum. We have the
00:34head, neck, body, tail. The insulin process is down there and if I remove the
00:39pancreas we can see that posterior to the pancreas is the kidney and the aorta and
00:45the inferior vena cava. So those are posterior to the pancreas and anteriorly
00:51it's covered by the stomach.
