Protesters gatecrashed the start of the Tour of Britain in Sheffield over the inclusion of an Israeli team

The group waved flags and chanted loudly next to the stage on Arundel Gate where the 18 elite cycling teams were being presented to fans.

00:06and the Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid.

00:09And we're here today, many of us, to protest about the fact

00:14that there is an Israeli team, Israel Premier Tick,

00:17in this professional cycling race today.

00:22...the team here on the podium...

00:25...of the 20 retirement trial titles this year and all last year.

00:29So a great team for the team of Obama FDJ

00:32and we wish them the best of luck for the race.

00:37Israel Premier Tick is a team managed by a guy

00:41who explicitly says the team is here to act as ambassadors for Israel.

00:46We say no to that.

00:48We say no Israeli team should be involved in international sport right now

00:53when Israel's committing a genocide.

00:55We're not here to disrupt the race.

00:57We're here to raise awareness, to speak to cycling fans

01:01and to give a message loud and clear to British cycling.
