A parking obstruction is believed to have lead to an altercation between two men which left one of them seriously injured in a knife attack, Sinar Harian reported on Thursday (Sept 5).

Sentul district police chief ACP Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said a 28-year-old suspect was arrested following the incident at the Pekan Kepong flats on Wednesday (Sept 4) evening.

00:18Central District Police Chief ACP Ahmad Sukarno Mohamad Zahari told Sinar that the incident
00:24occurred at the Pekan Kepong flats at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
00:29Police said the suspect, a 28-year-old man, had slashed the victim with a 32-centimetre
00:34knife.
00:35The 24-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital and received 35 stitches.
00:40ACP Ahmad Sukarno said the suspect was arrested at the scene around 6.45 p.m. and will be
00:47remanded to assist the investigation under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily
00:53causing grievous hurt.
