00:00The celebration of the 67th anniversary of the independence of Malaysia was joyful, colorful, and full of life.

00:07At the celebration of the National Day of Malaysia here in the Philippines,

00:11the importance of unity towards progress was given.

00:16So today, the whole Malaysian nation celebrates it with a sense of purpose

00:23so that we are ready for the next stage of Malaysian development.

00:26In the Philippines, we are celebrating 60 years of Malaysian-Philippine relations.

00:30So with this celebration, we will be able to foster a greater understanding and cooperation with the Philippines,

00:36which is an important part in ASEAN.

00:42We are also very grateful to the Malaysian Embassy in the Philippines

00:46to the Filipinos because of the strong and ever-growing friendship between the two countries.

00:51I would like to of course thank the wonderful Filipino nationalities and of course all walks of life for being here today.

01:00It's a day where we all celebrate together, not only Malaysian, but of course all the other nationalities, especially Filipinos.

01:06And together we hope to work towards greater development.

01:10Malaysia is one of the pillars of the Philippines for the development of the halal industry in the country.
