00:00Malaysia is able to play an important role in strengthening the relationship between China and ASEAN when it heads ASEAN 2025, said Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
00:12The former prime minister said that Malaysia plays an important role in the midst of a time-challenging issue at the level of ASEAN and internationally.
00:23According to him, China can play an important role through dialogue between ASEAN-China, ASEAN 10+, and the ASEAN Regional Coordination Forum at the summit.
00:34Ismail, who is also the co-founder of One Belt, One Road Malaysia, is now on a business trip to China to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.
00:45He said so when he spoke at the 50th Anniversary Gathering on China-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations in the Economy and Trade Cooperation, as well as the Transformation of Development and Networking in Haidian, Beijing yesterday.
