00:04Psychosis, so, let's begin.

00:07Traumatherapy Psychosis appears to be a twisted movie, the concept of which can be compared

00:11to Red Rooms on the Dark Web.

00:13Written by David Josh Lawrence and Tom Malloy, the movie revolves around a twisted series

00:17of events and a sadistic form of gaming.

00:20Traumatherapy Psychosis, a sequel to Traumatherapy, 2019, is replete with disturbing images that

00:26revolve around a self-help group created by Tobin Vance.

00:29The cult Vance sets up here uses extremely harsh methods to play sick games with the

00:33participants.

00:35Even though the games seem familiar at first, they take horrid turns later, making the participants

00:39either embrace death or compelling them to become a permanent part of the cult.

00:48The seemingly inviting self-help academy becomes a nightmare for the participants as they progress

00:52through the sick games.

00:54The organization set up by Tobin Vance in the US had been banned for all kinds of illegal

00:58activities.

00:59They had been involved in money laundering, sex rackets, and other similar crimes.

01:04The movie begins with a live-streamed interview with one of the survivors of the show.

01:08He is being questioned and we get to see his narrative of the gruesome fate of the participants.

01:13Some people are selected based on their past traumas and are asked to participate in a

01:17five-day retreat into the woods as a part of self-healing.

01:20The deal said that if they were to back out halfway, then they were to pay a huge amount

01:24of money.

01:25Little do they know about the atrocities that are to be inflicted on them at the retreat.

01:29The details of the participants' pasts had been collected by them and those insecurities

01:33were constantly gnawed upon through the games.

01:36How did Vance torture the participants?

01:39The first night of the sadistic games started with the participants gathering in front of

01:42a bonfire.

01:44We see Vance appearing and saying things to them that would degrade them morally.

01:48He asks them all to burn the objects that bonded them with their past traumas.

01:52When one of the participants refused, Vance demeaned him to the extent that he committed

01:56suicide.

01:57The participants were drugged on the first night and were under the impression that they

02:00were given vitamins.

02:02The participants are seen taking part in dangerous activities that are forced on them.

02:07They keep a record of Nicole murdering a man in a state of frenzy to blackmail her later.

02:11The next day, they were again forced to take some sort of vitamin and embarked on a mission

02:15to get bitten by a venomous insect, and they were informed that the pain would last a long

02:19time.

02:20Everyone was forced to take the insect bite, but Lily refused, and she was punished at

02:24night with her hands tied and dozens of the same insect being poured on her.

02:28They were being tortured in the name of motivation to overcome their fears.

02:32The games become deadlier with each passing day and the next danger they face is consuming

02:36poison.

02:37They have been told that the antidote to it is in the blood of a rabbit that is hiding

02:41in the vicinity.

02:42They all run for their lives and find the rabbit, only to kill it and drink its blood

02:46to save their lives.

02:48When Nicole attempts to leave the game, she is blackmailed with a video from her past

02:51and is forced to stay back.

02:53A new participant, John, comes in, and they are manipulated to believe that he is a part

02:57of them, but in actuality, he was working for Vance.

03:01John plays mind games with the characters, where they are induced into a simulation of

03:05role-playing, and they end up hurting each other.

03:07The next day held a greater challenge when they were given rifles and Nicole was provoked

03:11to shoot a man.

03:13On the last day, the participants are provoked to kill others.

03:16Nicole ends up murdering her abusive father.

03:19When Frank is asked to commit a murder, he refuses to do it and is shot down eventually

03:23by John.

03:24Lily is made to chew on Frank's severed ear, and Jesse is instigated by Vance to shoot

03:28himself.

03:30What is the final fate of the participants?

03:33During trauma therapy psychosis ending, the participants meet their tragic fate.

03:37Two of them are mercilessly killed, and the remaining two are made a part of the Institute.

03:42As Lily and Nicole have been able to sustain the gory games and the pressure, Vance deems

03:46them fit to join his army.

03:48The Vance Institute has been creating an army of sadists who love torturing and murdering

03:52people.

03:53We see a growing lack of empathy in the participants as they reach the end of the session.

03:58The participants have slowly been programmed into becoming monsters so that they can fit

04:01right in.

04:03Vance was feeding on the weakness of the insecure to breed terrorists and gain a grip in the

04:07underworld.

04:08Why did Vance create the Academy?

04:10Vance had the intentions of a manipulative dictator to gain control over the minds of

04:14the weak.

04:15The Academy had been created by him to fulfill his own selfish needs, satisfy his sadistic

04:20nature, and torture innocent people, simply for his own pleasure.

04:24It is the nature of the feeble to rely on someone for validation, and toxicity fuels

04:28insecurities to a great extent.

04:30The toxic manipulation of Vance creates greater insecurities in the minds of the already insecure

04:35participants.

04:36He was constantly telling them how harsh an unforgiving life was to scare them further.

04:41He was trying to prove to them that the mental therapy that he was giving them would be a

04:44life changer.

04:46This would ensure that they would place all their faith in the program and blindly follow

04:49Vance's instructions.

04:51He was a manipulator and a sadist who took away the most precious possessions that they

04:55owned.

04:56They make the participants believe that something good is going to come out of the challenges

04:59they are facing.

05:00They are given mental stimulants instead of medications to further trigger their conditions

05:05so that they become more vulnerable.

05:07Their fears are constantly being triggered, manipulation is on the rise, and there are

05:11trust issues that are being generated to the extent that they burst out.

05:15In the end, it is seen that the insecurities of the participants are used as the biggest

05:18weapon against them to make them feel inferior.

05:21The Academy was a manifestation of an evil world created by Vance, and he was the mastermind

05:25behind all the sufferings inflicted upon the characters.

05:29We can't help but be overcome with a deep sense of hatred towards Vance, as we are able

05:33to see right through his wicked intentions of conquering the world.
