President Maduro denounces delegitimization attempts of the extreme right wing

00:00In Venezuela, President Nicolás Maduro asserted that no one is above the laws and institutions

00:04of the Venezuelan state, following repeated attempts by the far-right to deny the legitimacy

00:11During the transmission of his program ConMaduroMás, the Venezuelan president denounced the attempts

00:16of the far-right to deny the legitimacy of the institutions of the state after their

00:20failure in the presidential elections of last July 28th.

00:24In this sense, the Venezuelan head of state pointed out that the former presidential far-right

00:27candidate Edmundo González Urrutia resorts to this type of methods to take the power

00:33by violating and disrespecting the constitutional laws of the country.

00:37Maduro also stated that it was contradictory for the former far-right candidate to participate

00:43in an electoral process when he did not attend any of the summons of the National Electoral

00:47Council and to assure he would not accept the results if they were not favorable to

00:52him.
