Is it important to know who is the Ishtadeva or Ishtadevi to preserve Self-realization?
00:08
No, Ishtadev and Ishtadevi, these are for religion.
00:15
And for liberation or salvation, our pure soul is Dev, and we have to worship our inner pure soul.
00:26
Mataji or Krishna, like that we are following, that is our Ishtadev.
00:32
But if you want liberation, then our Ishtadev means our pure soul only.
00:38
Actually, I thought that in every incarnation, the person who has Ishtadeva,
00:47
he should follow to attain Self-realization.
00:51
Really, when we worship Ishtadev, at that time we are believing that I am Lavina and I am worshiping my Ishtadev.
01:01
At that time, we will charge merit karma, good karma.
01:05
Next life, you will get relative happiness, worldly happiness.
01:11
And if you know Self-realization, oh, Lavina is separate and I am pure soul,
01:17
that awareness, that will help you for liberation.
01:21
And for Self-realization, Ishtadev is not helpful.
01:25
For Self-realization, living enlightened person is required.
01:31
So Self-realization is, one Self-realized person is required.
01:39
And for ultimate liberation, we have to stop our charging of new karma.
01:45
If merit karma is there, good karma is there, then we have to take new birth for that suffering of that good karma.
