01:21a murderer in an interview when you first received the message that the US president

01:26had allowed himself to do this in relation to the Russian president.

01:29Do you remember your first impressions?

01:32It was hard to believe, for example, I personally rewatched it in English several times, I thought

01:37that maybe it was a translation error, English is also a very flexible language, it is very

01:42rich in double meanings of words, and so on, I tried to understand it.

01:47There were even such awkward attempts from the White House administration to launch this

01:52version, that, supposedly, this word can have other shades, and so on, but everything was

01:56clearly stated there, in this regard, it was a bad start.

02:00And when you and your colleagues reported this to the Russian president, what was his

02:04reaction?

02:05You know, President Putin is always extremely careful in his statements about his colleagues.

02:10He never allows himself to be rude or even impolite in relation to the heads of other

02:14states, and, of course, it is incomprehensible to him when the head of other states, especially

02:20the head of the United States of America, uses such words in his lexicon when talking

02:25about a colleague, yes, after all these screams and jostling that were arranged, this did

02:30not prevent, however, a very meaningful conversation from taking place later, there were hopes,

02:36but, in essence, nothing changed, this line of further pressure on Russia, suppressing

02:41Russia in all its manifestations, it was gaining momentum, when tensions were growing.

02:48Even when Putin came up with an initiative at the end of the year, Russia outlined its

02:51application positions, when a country outlines its application positions, these are positions

02:57for negotiations, the country does not demand that they agree with all aspects.

03:03But the very idea of negotiations was immediately rejected, first of all, by the United States

03:09of America.

03:11They took such a completely categorical position regarding Ukraine's membership in NATO.

03:16In your opinion, why, after all, they understand perfectly well, that this is an extremely

03:22sensitive topic for Russia, now we can say for sure, I am deeply convinced of this.

03:28That America is a country that is very pragmatic, they had a project in Ukraine, and they developed

03:33this project until 2014, they invested money there, they implemented this project, they

03:38staged a coup d'etat, they handed out pies there, then they followed the path of implementing

03:43this project.

03:45And this project envisaged sucking Ukraine into NATO's military infrastructure, both

03:50into the political and military infrastructure, they followed this scenario precisely, it

03:54is clear that you cannot talk about the nuances, despite the fact that Western countries have

03:59long ago made it so, that the canons of diplomacy do not work, everyone leaks everything, everyone

04:05tells everything, many secrets are revealed immediately, but this does not mean that we

04:09should be like them, but, nevertheless, what was the atmosphere of, that conversation between

04:14the presidents, how categorically did the US make it clear in, that conversation, that

04:19they were not going to take into account our concerns about Ukraine's inclusion in NATO,

04:23it was a tough conversation on both sides, an uncompromising conversation on both sides,

04:29on the American side, there was an absolute lack of readiness to continue the dialogue,

04:33that is, we then understood, that there was basically nothing more to talk about, it was

04:37obvious, many people already have the feeling, that comrades abroad have gone completely

04:42crazy, because every day we now hear completely unacceptable conversations, they are discussing,

04:49what weapons to use to strike Russia, how deeply to strike Russia, the European Union

04:55foreign minister publicly stated, that many countries share the opinion, that attacking

05:02the Kursk region is normal and correct, well, let's be correct in this case, first of all,

05:08it is not comrades abroad, who are doing this, but comrades in the West, because the West

05:12is not the world majority, and in the West, indeed, you said it right, the minister of

05:17foreign affairs of Europe, he is already behaving like the minister of defense, and he is behaving

05:22like a hawk.

05:23The European countries, led by the United States, have gone into this confrontational

05:29ecstasy, they are playing the role, that Washington has given them in this whole story, to the

05:36detriment of their own interests, to the detriment of the wallets of their taxpayers,

05:40and, of course, all this will have profound consequences for them, these consequences

05:45are inevitable, and over the next decade we will witness these negative consequences,

05:52have they not completely overplayed their hand with fire, for example, as in the situation

05:56with Donbass.

05:58Russia has been calling for constructiveness for a long time and constantly, but in the

06:02end Russia responded in a way, that many did not like.

06:07They are playing too much, but, knowing the determination of our president, knowing the

06:12potential of our country, which turned out to be even greater than we expected, the pace

06:17of our economic development speaks for itself, as does the military mobilization of our economy,

06:22I have no doubt, that if necessary, everything will be done to protect our interests.

06:29The risks are growing.

06:31That constantly poking the Russian bear with a stick will ultimately lead to a response,

06:36that will make them suffer.

06:38Our response should not be such.

06:40That they suffer.

06:42Our response must be effective and such as our interests require.

06:46There is no longer a candidate Biden.

06:49So who is our candidate now?

06:52We have no candidate, but, of course.

06:55The Democrats are more predictable, and what Putin said about Biden's predictability applies

07:02to almost all Democrats, including Mrs. Harris, everything is predictable.

07:09Predictable is the continuation of their line towards us.

07:12Predictable is the continuation of their pressure on the countries of the European Union.

07:16Predictable is the further political and economic enslavement of these countries, and Trump

07:20has these statements, that as soon as he is elected, he will decide everything the next

07:25I don't think there is a magic wand, nothing can be done within 24 hours, although, if

07:30we assume, that the next US president makes a statement during his inauguration speech,

07:36that the US is for peace, and therefore they are ending their support for Ukraine, that

07:40they are stopping all military aid programs, and, that they are calling on the parties

07:45to sit down at the negotiating table, then, in general, by the morning, something in someone's

07:50brain will change, especially in Kiev.

07:53You can imagine this hypothetically, but this is in the realm of fantasy.

07:58There is a difficult situation in our border regions, it is clear, and we have discussed

08:02this many times, that the presidential schedule is publicly arranged in such a way, that we

08:07only see a small part of it, this week we saw the president's meetings with governors,

08:11but this is publicly for 10 minutes a day, accordingly, there are still 23 hours and

08:1650 minutes left behind the scenes, in connection with all these events now.

08:24How is the president's working day structured?

08:26Several times a day, or as needed, day and night.

08:30The president receives reports from the military.

08:34This is his role as supreme commander-in-chief.

08:37In addition, of course, in areas where there is an acute situation, the president, in fact,

08:46keeps all issues related to social security under his personal control.

08:51These are daily or hourly contacts with the heads of regions, with the heads of social

08:57departments, with rescuers, with law enforcement agencies, this is concern for people.

09:02How temporary accommodation points are organized, where exactly people have arrived, where they

09:07are placed, where children will go to school on September 1, all this happens within 24

09:13hours, and all this happens daily, in connection with these events.

09:17The president said at a meeting that an assessment of what is happening will be given, and the

09:22enemy will receive a worthy response.

09:24When will we be able to understand what conclusions have been made, what kind of response can

09:28there be?

09:29Well, in fact, our response is already happening.

09:32Why do you think this is some kind of one-off event?

09:35It is already happening, you see the decisive actions of our armed forces, and there is

09:39no doubt that they will continue.

09:41The arrest of Pavel Durov, here in Russia, the Russian law enforcement agencies also
