Venezuelan authorities denounced this Friday a new sabotage to the National Electric System that has affected since early this morning several states of the country, including Greater Caracas. teleSUR

00:08Early Friday morning, Venezuelan authorities denounced a sabotage that caused a blackout

00:13that affected several states in the country.

00:15The Ministry of Communication denounced that Venezuela has been a victim once again of

00:20the electrical sabotage that caused damages in several territories of the country, including

00:25the capital.

00:26At this moment, the Electric Cabinet is working for the total restoration of the service.

00:32Ferdinand Náñez, Minister of the Communication, declared that a special operation has been

00:37activated in Caracas for surface transportation and also stressed that nobody will take peace

00:44away from the Venezuelan people.

00:54As we know, today at approximately 4.40 a.m., there has been an electrical sabotage at national

01:00level that has affected the service supply in the country.

01:03This electrical sabotage was detected in time, and the Vice Presidency of Public Services

01:08and the entire Corpoelec team are working from the very moment the electrical sabotage

01:13occurred, to restore the service throughout the country.

01:19A contingency operation has been activated for Caracas and for the state of Miranda,

01:24which has to do with the supply of superficial public transportation, so that those who are

01:28heading to work can get to their workplace, those who are going to do their errands today

01:32can also do them.

01:33And they can be sure that both in Caracas, Miranda and at a national level, all the protocols

01:38will be activated throughout the morning while we have the contingency.

01:43In this way, the Minister of Communication and Information of Venezuela, Ferdinand Náñez,

01:48informed on Friday that the electrical sabotage that affected the service supply nationwide

01:53reassured the population of the current work being done to restore the service.
