00:18Goletta dei Laghi. The result is that out of 394 championship points between June, July and
00:24August in 19 regions, 36% has been judged overall beyond the limit with 101 points that
00:31have received the judgment of strongly polluted and 39 of polluted. It concerns above all the
00:36state of health of the sea, where out of 265 championship points from Goletta Verde in 15 coastal regions,
00:4337% has been judged beyond the limit, on average 1 point polluted every 76 km of coast.
00:50Leaks of rivers, canals and watercourses that flow to the sea or lake are confirmed as critical points.
00:56Among the threats to the state of health of the quality of sea and lake waters,
01:01the acceleration of the climate crisis in 2024 also concerns, from the emergency to drought
01:06never ending, which hit especially southern Italy with almost dry lakes, to the increase
01:11of extreme weather events, especially the intense rains that hit northern Italy,
01:16putting under stress the depuration plants, from the tropicalization of the Mediterranean Sea,
01:21especially the Adriatic, to the invasion of alien species such as the blue granchio.
